- confused replies to melissa from californiaDid you find out if this Company is a fraud
- Scubus replies to kIf it were a legit company they would be licensed, happy to provide their address, provide required legal notification, be polite, honest and happy to send you a bill. If the debt was legit then they could easily file suit in court and handle the matter properly.
I am not in the habit of paying imaginary bills, bills that a collector refuses to verify or one that has been charged off in bankruptcy or other legal proceeding. And neither would any other legitimate business or person. - Scubus replies to ShirleyYour Jedi mind trick will not work on them...

- ScamBusterI've been getting calls from a guy named "Don Harris" claiming to be a process server. The first three calls were from a PRIVATE number. I missed the first two and they went to voice mail. I answered the last one yesterday. In the voice mails he stated that he would be serving me tomorrow and I would need to be home and present him with two forms of ID. He never showed up. Yesterday he said he needed to serve me was it OK if he came by the house in an hour. I was out on an appointment and told him no. I asked him what the matter was about and he said he didn't know and I should call 855-546-9154 and ask for Case #CK344-955. He said I shouldn't sign for anything if I didn't know what it was about. He asked if he could serve me tomorrow and I said yes. He called this morning from a local number this time to "confirm" I would be home. He again asked if I knew what the matter was about and I told him no. He urged me not to sign for anything if I didn't know what the matter was about and insisted on giving me the phone number and case number again. This whole thing just sounded hinky. I told him I had spoken an attorney friend and he advised to go ahead and sign for it, it won't hurt a thing. The "process server" then said, "Well attorney's will tell you that just to start earning fees." Right then I knew this was a scam. I have enough legal background to know that process servers do NOT discourage you in any way from signing. I then found a similar post on this site with a different phone number. I still have no idea why this guy is calling me but IF it is important any LEGITIMATE will send something in writing.
