I have a loan modification agreement in place with these people in a trial period (with two of three payments timely made), since I am in the worst financial situation in my lifetime due to a catastrophic business investment, and they are still HARASSING me after business hours?  This is OUTRAGEOUS.  They should be sued.

I called the number back.  It is Select Portfolio Services.  They wanted to tell me that my modification was approved.  The economy has hurt my income and I may be broke, but I'm keeping the house and able to pay the bill.

BTW:  Dave's awesome!  :)

Excuse me JERK, I mean DAVE, I live in an apartment and have never owned a house yet they still call my phone several times. So Dave, quit being a jerk to everyone, you obviously do not know who they are and what they want. I'm sure you have NEVER made any of the mistakes that you are accusing people on here of making. I bet you're a real honorable man. An honorable man wouldn't judge people that he didn't know. AND if you do work for that company and you know that they are bullying and harassing people, there will be a spot in hell reserved for you.

They are scammer i got charged 76 dollars in late fees and they charge you 15 dolars to pay your bill online its a rip off! refinance and get away from them if you can!

SPS calls on the 11th of the month my payment is due on the 12th.  While I have until the 23nd my payment to be received and not considered late, they continue to phone starting the 11th of the month. Very irritating.  I pay my mortgage on time all the time, I have never been late, My payment is sent threw on line bill pay. I have asked them to stop calling/bothering me, and still the phone calls keep coming.

I have a loan with them that has never been late. They continue to call and ask me to hold. I am not going to hold for a machine so I hang up. They keep calling. I am going to file a complaint on them.

Maybe Dave can tell you why they are calling when your house is paid off.....he seems to be all -knowing

if you don't have a mortgage, don't worry... though you may want to get rid of the pesky calls... probably the person they're trying to collect from gave them a wrong # and it just happens to be yours.  Oh! By the way, you don't have to be a deadbeat to default... now a days defaulting on your mortgage and restructuring is more often than not a good financial strategy.

I keep getting this call from this number and they are asking for a William Smith...I keep telling them that they have the wrong number and to delete my number but the idiots keep calling!
