seems the common link is we are telus phones.. so dont be surprised if its telus themselves with a scam. they tend to phone me when im over my minutes or close too, from numbers that are disconnected if you call them back... this one is a scam for sure. We are all testimony to that.

Called my cell. I wish the law would be changed to stop these scams. Only severe financial penalties will stop them.

They just called here, too just now. Have been off and on for some time. I report these to the DNC Canada List but they don't seem to do anything about it. I believe it is illegal for them to tie up police lines. You can likely press charges and should do so. It's a scam.

Rogers customer, just got this call yesterday. Same recording of, "This is an important call from airmiles canada...." I hung up at that point since I don't even have air miles.

I did the same pressed 1 for fun then realized while on hold that I probably shouldn't have. I remember something about hitting a number that would allow someone on the other side of the call to have access to making long distant calls under your number. Does anyone know if this is still going on?

I won 250,000 air miles and all they needed was my credit card number and security code.

Thats not a bad deal if you ask me! Should help pay for my vacation.

I've had this number call me three times in the past 2 days. I use Bell, so I don't think this is a scam linked to Telus users. The voicemail is someone offering the prize of Air miles.... I don't even have an airmiles card, why would I enter their contest? SCAM!

Got a call from this number and didn't answer. No one has my cell # so was wary. Glad I read the above comments and realize I did the right thing by not answering and will be equally as cautious in the future.
