For me it was the recording from "CREDIT CARD SERVICES".  I was put through to an operator, and when I asked that  my number be removed, they hung up.

Heather is [***] driving me NUTS.  Enough with your goddamned offer...I am NOT interested.  Even though I press one for no more calls, she persists in calling my number.  I am so fed up with this unsolicited call that I'm ready to go POSTAL.

Called & left no message.  I called the number on caller ID (909-650-9121), it said "if you are not interested in receiving future calls regarding our services please press 1" so I did, and it said to allow 72 hours.

On 3/17/10 around 5:31 p.m. left no message.  I have caller ID which gives number and who called.  Did not leave a message.  Another number, with recorder on my end, says I'm sorry, I've misdialed.  I recognize the voice on him and also in answering the phone.

I got a call this morning from this number.  I did not answer the call because we have caller ID.  We are on a do not call list but this doesn't seem to matter.

I just got another one of these calls. I was on the other line, so I didn't pick up. They called a few months ago and wanted to "renew" the warranty on my husband's Toyota truck. How did they know he had a Toyota? I believe it was because we had been looking for a new insurance carrier and called the "Gecko" company. When I asked them not to call, they said ok, but called again a few days later. Told me to stop calls I had to call 1-800-EAT-SH*T - we both started laughing as I hung up

I found that if you answer and immediately hit the # key a dozen or two time very fast that their computer erases the number. It HAS worked for me on many unwanted solicite calls. The Federal rule will not allow UNSOLICATED  phoe calls for sale BUT they will allow a surevy call...not much diff to me. I # them all. I have also turned OFF MY ANSWERING MACHINE when I am gone and they automatically disconnect when they get NO answer and erase the call.

I received a call from 909-650-9121.  when I persisited that they give me the number of the credit card that they wanted to lower my interest on, he said that he would send me the info in the mail.  Bet I never get anyhting.

Got a call today saying, after I didn't pick up immediately, saying my credit was okay now but........ Then I hung up because it had to be a recording. I  really don't have a credit card.

I have been receiving calls from this number for a couple weeks.  They say they have an offer to lower your interest rate but do not identify which company they are from.  My suspect that this is a scam to get your credit card # and steal money from your account.  Judging by the other posts, I'm not alone in this feeling.  
The caller ID just has the number and Sanberidino, California.

Oh Crap!!!   Just when  I thought it was safe to answer the phone again I get this call at 4 P.M. today!  Answering machine is going to  go into over time again!  Thankfully  when the machine picked up they hung  up! Here's to a the start of another answering machine go -round!

The recorded message claimed to be able to lower my Credit Card interest rates if I pressed one.  I pressed "1" to find out more information.  When I asked what company they were representing he said, "We are Visa and Mastercard headquarters".  So when I asked him why he was calling me and specifically which card he was referring to, he said- "What don't you understand about us being Visa and Mastercard headquarters–all of your cards are eligible!"  To which I said, "What don't you understand about my curiosity. . .calling out of the blue." He hung up on me.

I almost forgot, I asked to be removed from his call list and he yelled into the phone, "NO!"

I got a call today...thank heaven for caller ID...how did we ever survive before.  I now make it a standard practice to NOT answer phone numbers i do not recognize or that come up unavailable/private.

Got the call @ 2:18PM. Didn't answer. No message.

They called today and claimed that there was nothing wrong with my credit card but my eligibility to lower my rates was about to expire and I should consider it a final warning.  I pressed 1 to get a live person and I said "Are you guys so stupid? I have no credit cards." then hung up.
