No message this time - hung up.  I use Call Block from Verizon.  It's worth $6.50/month even though I live on Social Security!  After a four month break, all these calls have started up again with the New Year.

"Credit Services" - I filed a complaint at donotcall.gov.  Everyone should do the same.  Maybe the feds'll go after this guy.

Actually if you look at visas they begin with a 7 and M/C begin with 5 so if you tell them the card type they have the first digit.  BTW I got a call from "Credit Card" services and reported them to BBB and do not call.  If we all report them to the do not call registry they will get some hefty fines and maybe shut down.

they called me this am about lowering my credit card rate. The jerk wouldn't tell me what co. he was with. told him i was on the DNC list and he started yelling at me and hung up. reported the # to the do not call list. Trying to find out who the heck they are so I can start yeiing at them.

Received call from this number.  Did not recognize it and did not pick up.  No message received.  Just checked this site and see that it is a scam telemarketer.  In the past I have received numerous credit service calls from the East coast states and Florida. One persistent gal calls from several different numbers.  She always leaves a message and it's always the same voice with the same message that this is my final warning. It appears that my Illinois telephone number has now reached California.

They call frequently, it is always a credit caed scam with me. They want CC acct numbers and expiration dates and the issuing bank which if they were legitimate they could identify from the first four digits!


Whatever you do DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION THIS IS A SCAM AND THEY ARE TRYING TO GET ACCESS TO YOUR CREDIT.

If they sell you an auto warranty it is just to get your account info do not fall for it!

anybody know what to do if your wife actually went through with the 909 credit services scam?  They aren't "open" on the weekends.  Yes, she gave out my credit card numbers and her social.  I had her call our credit card companies and tell them not to do anything.  I don't know if this is an info gathering scam or if it is a legit company using telemarketing services.  I told her that if she could not get in touch with them Monday to cancel everything the she should call the better business bureau to see if the could direct us towards getting this mess cleaned up.  anybody got any ideas?

"Credit Services" called about our Chase card; we don't have a Chase card. Then, they asked about our Bank of America card; we don't have a Bank of America card. Plus, they called on my husband's cell phone. Why does their "right to do business" supersede my "right to privacy"?

I have asked more times than I can count to be removed from this calling list and I am alredy on the national "do not call" list.  When I have been home to receive these calls and choose to speak to someone, they hang up on me when I ask for them to stop calling.  When I call back the only option is to choose to be placed on the "do not call" list.

Recorded voice ID identified this number as "Credit Services" and said my interest rate could be lowered by contacting them. Said to press 1 or 2. I didn't.

Tired of getting scam calls and I'm on the DNC list.

Call came in at 3:35.  Did not answer.  They left no message.

They called me at 4:55pm today. Caller ID showed it as a cell phone. White pages is showing the number is from San Bernardino, CA. but white pages doesn't seem to do well with cell phone numbers. I also found out that the area code 909 is run by Smart Communications based in the Philippines. After hearing the same recorded message from other calls I selected to speak with a person and the woman I spoke to did have an accent. She hung up on me when I would not tell her how much credit card debt I have. She claimed to be with Master Card and wanted to lower my interest rate.
This is a clear scam.

Called approximately 2:15. Identified themselves as Credit Services, wanting to lower my interest rate. I will definitely be filing a complaint with DNC registry

I just got a call telling me I could have my credit card rate dropped below 9% if I only gave them my Master card number, expiration date, and confirmation number on the back.  The guy had a foreign accent so I hung up on him.

Some posts say this is from Toyota.  Never have owned one.  Other posts say it's for credit services.  Don't need that either.  Am on DNC list.  Leave this number ALONE!!!

They've called several times in the past. This time I pressed '1' to speak to someone. They claimed that since I've been paying my credit card bills, they wanted to lower my interest rate to "reward" me. They wanted me to "confirm" my accounts by giving them the entire credit card number. I asked if "last four digits" would be sufficient. They said "No". I said that I was having trouble hearing them 'cause the line was bad (true) and asked fo a number that I could call them back on. At that point, the person on the other end said, "Thank you," and hung up. I called the number on the Caller ID and got a recording saying that if I wanted to be added to their do-not-call list. Reported to donotcall.gov as our number is on the registry.

Just got a call from this number which I did not answer. Tried to call the number and a recording saying the number has been connected or is not in service.

Did not answer, ID said credit services.  Sometime I have messages stating calling about my credit card. Do not have any.  I did co-sign on my grandson's Honda, possibly reference to that per others comments. The car was totalled over a year ago and no longer have a balance.
