Just got a call from 914 373 7134 no one responded when I answered the phone, so I decided to check out the number.  I'm glad I did.  I would never give out our information to anyone on the phone.  They could send the police first.

I have had the same happen to me. I have called the FTCC and encourage others do so.
This phone number goes too a: (just ran an internet search) I would encourage people to call Police or Department of Investigation Whistleblower Protection if he is impersonating a government official

I got a call from this number but they don't talk.  
This number is listed on the above web page as a florist.

These folks are hilarious.  They can play crazy?  So can I.  I pretend to be an old guy who is in his 70s and waiting for a refund check from Sears.  I ask "What?" about every minute or so just to make them repeat themselves.  Then, after talking to them about five to ten minutes, I change my voice back to normal and say "Officer, this is the call I'd like to have traced."  Suddenly..............nothing but dead air on the other end.  I hope they [***] their pants.

Let's find out who these people are and pay them a Italian visit they'll never forget.  I'd love to shove a full auto pistol up their [***] and pull the trigger just to watch the top of their head blow off.

I just got the same phone call - answer 3 debt crisis questions and I get a cruise a cruise.  I answered the 3 questions and then the robo call hung up on me.  [Of course I knew it was bunk.]  My caller ID only said New York.

NEVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER TO A STRANGER WHO CALLS YOU.

Wanted to do a survey- offered a 2 day cruise.
I hung up.

Just a hunch....have any of you other people completed a job application recently, where the name and other information of the prospective employer weren't given?  The reason I ask is that I'm getting these calls but have not filled out any kind of loan app for a very long time, though I have recently applied for a job where the employer was unidentified.  Just wondering if maybe that's how they get some of the personal info they seem to have.

Call at dinner time.  We did not answer and caller did not leave a message on the recorder.  We are in Oregon and caller area code is New York.  We have been receiving a lot of phony calls about credit card interest deductions from these folks.

Called around 5:30pm today. I didnt answer, but they left an automated message on my voicemail saying I had been "carefully selected" to answer a survey about the debt crisis and by answering the survey I would receive a free trip for 2 to the bahamas.

We received a call this morning from the same number.  My husband did, in fact, complete a job application online.  I think that is where some of this information is coming from.  Unfortunately, some employers only accept these apps online, so what can you do about it?  We absolutely do not answer any numbers we don't know, even if it means a potentially legitimate number.  Our assumption is that they can always leave a message and we will call them back.

Thank goodness I found this forum. I got the call this AM but could not get to the phone. I saw the CID read New York then it flipped to this 914 number. No message left but now I know not to pick it up if they call when I can answer. Thank you all for reporting this.

I just got a call from this number saying they are ESG Research Group with a survey on the debt crisis.  I will be reporting them to the appropriate authorities.

Just received a call from 914-373-7134, it appeared as "New York".  Looks like I'm glad I didn't answer!
