3/06/2014   2:09 PM:  Good old "Jason" just called.  I have a recorder on my phone.  He said his supposedly full name; and, I promptly informed him that he had been recorded.  And,  I told him NEVER to call again.  "Jason" immediately hung up.  The number has been reported to the proper authorities.

On the do not call list but received a call today from number below today.

Palmetto, FL 941-803-4666 got call from this number, didn't left voice massage. Probably scammers. If not, they would left me a massage.
My advise:
  don't answer unknown calls, if something important, they will record a voice massage. Doing this you can avoid scammers.

screen on phone said "Palmetto FL"....and it was yet another credit card interest lowering call.  I went to operator and asked to be removed front their list and the gal said nothing and simply hung up...fast and loudly.  So rude.

Phone rang @11:57AM-did notknow number so let machine get it--left no message.

I do not like or need scammers using my phone(s) to take my time and money. I abhor it. What good is "Do Not Call." Maybe they provide scammers with my number, I don't know. Something is not working. I am sick and tired of this and I want it to stop!!!

Yeah, I wonder if they actually collected the $11M.  I'd be surprised if they got any money.

I think the point is, waste their time like they are wasting your time.  Basically, they all do the same thing.  As soon as you indicate that they aren't going to be successful they just hang up (immediately) so your best bet is to string them along.

Nothing will happen just like listing your number on the Do-Not-Call list, N-O-T-H-I-N-G happens!!!  Who knows what their real number is as they are usually calling from a fake (SPOOF) number....  I get calls all the time from new numbers as the old ones I block on my phone. Just hang up or when the want your credit card number tell then to hold on while you get it.   My view...

I disagree. Education is power. If you know about a scam, educate yourself about scams, tell others about scams - you are informed. Sharing information with others is never a bad idea. By not taking a call from a number you do not know, not calling back a number you do not know, & not talking to them should you take the call - you are in a better position. If you DO NOT talk to them, they CANNOT scam you.

I have Charter call blocking and still get calls from this number. They have developed a way to bypass Charter blocking, what's next.password ...email...bank records? I contacted the FBI and told them about this. I hope theses [***] get what they got coming!

Caller ID came up "Important Message".  HAH!  Goto voice-mail hell you ass-clowns!

these people are not telemarketers they are scammers!

got robocall from 941-803-4666 caller ID said "UNKNOWN NAME" on Monday 03-10-14 @ 226 PM.

The message started - "This is David with Card Sevices. The federal reserve has lowered Interest rates due to the Stimulus.
We can lower your interest to 1.2%. Now 2 lower your interest press 9". So pressed "9" and a male got on line and asked "Are U responding to lowering your Interest". I said "Yes, and I sure would like that 1.2% interest". Not sure if their was a glitch with the phone call or he didn't like my enthusiasm for the Interest rate but the call got disconnected.

But 3 minutes later got Called from 302-764-3176 at 229 PM.

This guy calls and says he wants to pull down my draws and hum Dixie while mouth hugging my spincter muscle.  I nearly fainted a-fore I could hang up.  

Caller ID listed number as Palmetto, FL.
No message.

Message about lowering credit card rates.  This is a scam from lowlife scumbags.

As stated above knowledge is power. If you are helping your fellow man kind by providing them with information, then how is that a waste of time? Feel good about it but don't come here and tell others that it's a waste of time, it's counter productive.
