"Card Services" called today and when I pushed number to speak to a representative, I asked for their name and the name of their company.  I was given a message that said, "Customer Service is not available."  This was the first time I wasn't hung up on but given an automated message.  I've begun telling these people that I'm tape-recording the call for the State Atty. General's office.  They hang up immediately and just call back in a few days from another state.

Caller ID came up as Palmetto.  Some wad named "David" had a recorded canned message about lowering credit card rates and to press 9 if interested or 3 to stop unwanted calls...pressing any button did not work, it just hung up after the stupid message ended.  I'm sure now they know it's a "valid" phone number, but it's only one of my business lines, and I've added the number to the blocked list from all of my lines.

Yet another call (had one yesterday) from this number.  Difference was "Palmetto" showed as the caller today where yesterday showed the number as both the caller and the number.  Yesterday's call came in at 12:32, today was 12:00.  Msg was same and when I pushed "1" the call was disconnected.  I dialed back the number and msg said the number is no longer in service. I filed complaint with FCC.

I received yet another call from these losers.  My caller ID read Palmetto, Florida.  I answered and it was that Card Holder Services scam prerecorded message.  I pressed 1 to speak with a "representative".  The guy first said his name was Mike, or Mark, and he asked me what I was calling about.  I told him I was responding to the call about lowering my interest rates on my credit cards.  He went on with his speech about lowering my interest rates and I had the phone away from my ear, so I missed the last part.  However, I heard him say, "Do you think that would be beneficial to you?"  I waited for him to stop talking and I said, "You expect me to believe that crap you (bleeping) scammer?" I hung up after that.

This is about the 15th call I have had warning me this is the last chance to lower interest rates.  How do we stop these low down pieces of scum from making these calls

Called my cell phone.
I chose to not answer since I don't know the number and there was NO caller ID.
No message was left.
I'm not surprised at the kind of scam it is... if they were worth talking to they would have left a message.

Received a call from these people.  When I firmly requested that my name be taken off,  the woman was very rude & said it was a customer service call.  I again said I never requested the call & wanted to be removed immediately.  I have no idea who this is!!

We got a all from 941 803 4666 yesterday also about urgent information concerning our credit card account.  Thanks to everyone for posting the information that they're dangerous scammers.

Call from Palmetto, Florida.  Did not answer but the message was about lowering interest rates.

Once again, it's Card Services time.  Oh, how I love to get these so I can practice my acting without cracking up.  That list of fake card numbers next to my phone is pure gold.  10 minutes of their time means 10 minutes of NOT scamming someone else.  Too bad she hung up before I got to play Seger's Shakedown for her.  What I wouldn't do for a legal trap and trace.

Called 11:00 AM, left message about my credit card,,,,,,SCAM!!!

They will soon be blocked by my Call Blocker. Again, I agree they must be buying lists because there is no way someone in Palmetto, FL could have my number - which is the only info I got off the Caller ID this morning.

Never answer a call from someone you do not know and especially if you do not recognize the phone number as a friend, family member, coworker, your employer, or company you do business with such as a retail store, service company, or etc. Keep this in mind and you will never be scammed over the phone. If the call is important, they will send you a letter to your home mailing address.

Caller ID says Palmetto Florida.....no message, just use up answering machine space.  Thanks for the info from those of you who found out who these crooks are.
