I just received the same telephone call and the man identified himself as James White and then I called back and got a gentleman by the name of Campbell.  Does not speak english, wanted my attorney information claims that he is driving from California to Florida to my job and is going to make my life miserable.  I told him to come to my house, then he started telling me that i must have learned my manners from my parents and that he is my DAD.   This is a SCAM, we did apply for a online loan, and got bombed by 50 or more telephone calls.  One company even charged our checking account $99.95 but we went to the bank the same day put a fraud flag on it, was reimbursed the money and closed the checking account.  If you have not closed your account I would recommend that you do so.  THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM, when i tried to call back , blocking my telephone # they wont answer.  Spread the word..... NO ONLINE LOANS FOR ME!!!! STUPID I WAS THATS FORSURE

Got a call saying that they had a lawsuit to file against me in his hands. Told him this isn't the way the law works here is my country. He called 3 times in a row even after I told him that I would file harassment charges if he called again. Can something be done about these people? This is illegal.

Received call from this #, man identified himself as James White, with Customer Affairs, has apparently received Our personal information from when we applied for a online loan.  This gentleman threatens that he will be arriving to our employer and also becomes very ignorant.  He sounds as though he is from another country.  Also, when I re-directed questions to him regarding this, he decides to get into my rudeness and where I received my manners and then he stated that I can call him *dad*.  This is defintely a scam, again the information was obtained from applying to a loan company.  The # reflects that they are working out of ANZOR California.  If you try to call this person back with a blocked # they dont answer. unless you speed dial over and over.  When answering he will then accuse you from calling from Walmart and how he wants to smack you.  This is defintely a scam and they need to be shut down

Who the heck are these people? I also applied for a loan and am regretting it too. This is not worth the hassle. The guy just called my work, he can't even pronounce my name! Hilarious!! he called three times in a row and I told him there was noone here by that name and he called me a liar and the police were on their way. They're going to have a long drive from India!!

Same thing.. or at least I assume.  I don't actually answer calls from #s I don't know - so I didn't answer the call (left yesterday) but just listened to it today.

Unintelligble speaker, male.  Sounds like probably from an African country, and his English is poor and heavily accented.

No idea what he wanted, but I could tell by the poor grammar and the rambling on the message that it was a scam.

I have not received a second call.  My guess is its a basic fishing scam, if you pick up they know the # is a real one and they will keep calling you.

If he calls again, I'll simply block the #.  

Only thing that irritates me is its my cell phone he's called.  Slowly my cell is being contaminated by all the junk calls my home phone used to get.

Same thing here, heavy accent, threatens to put me in jail.  the other number he calls from is 951-389-0283.  I guess I'll pay extra and start blocking all these 951 calls but first I'm going to try and get a company name if possible

I got a call from this fool early as heck, asking that i have my Attorney call cuz there is judgement against me
never said y.  Called the number as my attorney, I swear i heard with an accent," Thank you come again",had it on speaker , we fell out. Some BS i stopped filling out dumb cash advance referrals. that was the cause. they hustle would have been a bit ok if there was no accent. We as Americans can smell @Hit being served over the phone

Scam. I started to receive calls from this number and finally answered to see what I was dealing with. I got the guy with the West Indies accent, I believe. Either way it is a distinct accent and the guy read from a script about lawyers and threats blah blah.... I am an attorney and I practice criminal law in Miami. So I play along with him and he puts me on hold to get some other [***] who is going to close me for money. Same accent. So I tell him to hold on while I get my credit card. Right before I pretend to give him a bogus credit card number, I ask him if he really thinks I am actually going to give him a dime.I also told him that his scam was so bad that if he wouldn't mind holding for a minute I wanted other people in my office to hear this because it is so lame.

He hung up. I am trying to find one of my criminal clients who knows how this phone stuff works so this number can continually be routed to the US Attorney's Office in Miami. I hate these guys and I am going to make it my mission to try to put a little dent in their BS.

i recieved a phone cll from this number on 06/26/2012 around 12:06 pm.and he said this is the state of california and started bringing up and old debt from cash avdvance and mt tax company and said i had committed fraud because someone had placed monies into my account..well little did he know i am broke...and my personal checking account is not used for my business..it is against suntrust policy..it seems they had old info on me wih alittle of new ..when i started asking questions they hung up....the state of ca my [***]

Just got same call. Everyone needs to file a complaint with their states Attorney General's office.  This is interstate fraud. Let's get these guys and put them where they belong.

The same here - this idiot with a heavy Indian accent calls my work and my cell and leaves messages that he is going to arrest me and I owe money etc. I never answer when I see this type of number or the unknow number on caller id - he always calls back 3 or 4 times before leaving the stupid messages. I called the local police dept and gave them the number and information. Someone nedds to stop these morons!

I received a voice mail from this man about a hour ago, he said his name was Michael Diavid or Davis. Told me not to take this matter lightly and my attorney or myself needed to call him asap.  I called mad as hell, since I don't give my info out freely. I asked his name 3x because I could not understand him and he told me to shut the hell up. I was like did you just tell me to shut the H up he said yes, I was so pissed so I proceeded to ask him what this was pertaining to. Apparnently a loan I have never had and if I didnt pay asap I would be on the jail tomorrow. I said ON THE JAIL that doesnt make since. He then proceeded to tell me my SS DOB and address to include email and my bank info.  I do not do loans on the internet so I was pretty freaked out. I called police and filed a report, called bank, my cell carrier and SS department. This is rediculous that people think Americans are sooo stupid they will fall for this bs and the ones who do are probably barely making it in this country....My message to them is get a job earn your own money you scum bags. No wonder people steriotype its because of calls like these...... Oh yeah and his new name is John.

I just received a call at work telling me that I have a lawsuit against my name and my social security number , he even gave me my last 4 digits of my social. Asked me for my lawyers information.

got a call from someone named john taylor at work and on my cell phone. when i called back and asked what company they were calling from they kept asking me who i was and when i wouldnt tell them they told me to hold on and come back to the phone and said this is your father and hung up!! these people are crazy!!

I got a call from this number this am, June 30, 2012, saying that a lawsuit had been filed against me and I was supposed to call a Ronnie Cooper. They gave me this number. However, the guy that called me toldme he was a paralegal and would not give me any information like HIS name or number nor anything about the supposed law suit. I dont OWE anybody anything and have never been in trouble and this infuriated me to no end!!! And I didnt hold back in letting this idiot know that!! I contacted local authorities and they told me they have been getting many calls like this from ppl from Nigeria, Jamaica, and more. This person that called told me they would be sending the FBI to my job to take me to prison this coming Monday!!  And I'm supposed to call an attorney's office on a SATURDAY???  REALLY???  When he finally called my house again, and I had tried to call the number he gave me, he slipped up and let me know it was he who was the person he told me to call!! I told you he was an idiot! He said because I was rude to him and yelling at him and talking toof ast for him to understand that he wasnt' gonna discuss this with me.
