I got the same call, a few minutes ago, and he kept calling asking for my lawyers info and told me to call Ronny Copper.  So I call the number back and I guess he's Ronny Cooper with a heavy accent.

I just received a call from this number stating there were going to send the police to my job for checks that I never wrote. I started laughing and he said "F" you "B" and hung up. I tried to call the number back and it did not work.

Have been getting multiple calls from this number.  When I answer at 6:30 am on July 4th- Holiday.  He asked for me and I told him that he had the wrong number and I hung up, 1 minute later I received another call from same number and he yelled at me saying why you hang up on me.  I said I told you, you have the wrong number and he stated back to me yesterday I talked to you and this is the number.  That was such BS b/c I never talk to these people.  UGH so frustrating its been going on for about 2 weeks at least 5 calls a day.

    Business
I am a receptionist at a company that has 800 employees. This guy has called on several occasions for several different people. It's funny that he expects me to believe that all of the employees have the same lawsuit against them and coincidentally the same people coming after them for the money! They dont take no for an answer and we get several scammers like this calling daily.

He's called me several times as well same as everyone else, threats and no information
I've had lawyers and police call him back, every time he hangs up on them
I have since filed numerous claims and call him every other day or so
Telling him I've slept with his wife and I'm his son given up for adoption many years ago
And want to reconnect,it might be childish bit I have some free time between stops and
Feel he should also be harassed as he does others...hopefully all the complaints and
Reports catch up to him,one day he will ca the wrong person...I'd like to trace this to the actual company
He works for and complain to them,I never do online loans or anything, the last time he tried to call me last month I told him the person was unavailable because they snapped and flew out to California
Looking for someone and was very angry,he said ok sir and I said I just hope he never finds the person
His parole officer would flip! These people make me sick

This stupid number also called me. He left a voicemail. I kept calling him back and he finally answered. To begin, he had an attitude. He got mad because I interrupted him and he hung up. So, I called back and interrupted once again and told him that I am calling the police. He said "well y did you call back, u f'n b****."  I wrote down all of his information. He said his name was John Anderson on behalf of Cash Advance and he was calling from California. I am grateful I didn't give my cell number. I keep calling him back to harass him, but now he won't pick up the phone. I don't know if he is much of a threat, but do file a police report. I called social security administration and they told me to do the same thing. I am more worried because he has my social. Also, check to make sure your bank accounts are ok. I don't know who this fool is, but he needs to be stopped! What kind of company or attorney would call and say you are about to go to jail??? He's crazy.

I got this call to and they left messages on both my cell phone and work line.  When I tried to call back I never got anyone when they called again I answered, A Mark Watson said for me to find out what the lawsuit was about I had to call the same number with an extension for Ronny Cooper, looked up the name for a lawyer with that name in California.  No one by such name, they then called back a few minutes later to see if I had called, told them no and if they did not cease calls I would be reporting them to the FBI for fraud.  They haven't called back.  The kept wanting my social I wouldn't give it. he claimed I was yelling at him, I was not I was just very insistent.  I knew something wasn't correct, right away as they have to inform you via mail not phone about any lawsuits

    Mad as hell
I got the call at work on monday with the same indian dude telling me that he needs my lawyers info.  I always google phone numbers if it is a number i dont recognize so i knew already he was trying to scam me.  Told me if i didnt give them money that they would send the police in 24 to 48the hours.  Well it is has been 4 days and i am still a free woman.  Maybe they stopped calling when i called them out on their scam and told them i would call the authorities. Dont send these idiots money. What worries me is that im sure some people are sending money to the and that is why they are still in the business of scamming.

I received a call at work, telling me the same thing, he has told everyone else. Need an attorney present to talk with them, asking if I have contacted my attorney, told me to call Ronny Cooper at ext #154, have a nice day, etc. I told him that I had no idea what he was talking about.  Went on line, and read about him.  He called me back a few minutes ago.  I told him that I knew he was running a scam, and to stop calling me.  We will see what happens.

I received a voicemail on July 4th from a guy saying his name was John Morris (with a thick Indian accent) and saying to call him back or "he could only wish me luck as the sitation unfolded upon me". His voicemail made abosolutley no sense with incomplete sentences and partially formed thoughts, but he read off my email address so I decided to call back. When I called back now his name was John Anderson. He proceeded to tell me that he was an attorney at a law firm in CA and that a "law suit was being filed in my name" he read off a list of charges against me and said that the FBI would be at my job on the 5th to arrest me. When I asked what this was about he said it was about a loan that I had taken out and didn't pay back. I did have a loan but it wasnt due until July 6th and when I stated this he became very angry and said he was going to make my life miserable. Clearly this was a scam but then he proceeded to tell me that they would call my job (he knew where I worked) and tell them i was a criminal and also that they would take money out of my acct (he knew where I banked) so then I got angry. He stated that he could not help me and hoped I was arrested and hung up on me. I called back and he just kept picking up the phone and saying to stop calling him the police were coming for me. I then called him from a different number and now his name was Ronnie, that was all I needed to hear so I just hung up and blocked his number. I then called the place where I had taken out the loan. They confirmed that this was a scam and that they didn't know how he had gotten my information. My loan payment came out of my acct as scheduled on the 6th and while I was still worried that that guy had my info I assumed this was the end of it. But no, just 20 mins ago I got a call from 919-653-0786 (now a # originating from Cary, NC) and another guy with a thick Indian accent tells me (again) that his name is John and has the same B.S story about me not paying my loan (which was paid last Friday). He asks me if I have a lawyer and if I have been briefed on this issue, I say no and pretend that I have no clue what he is talking about so he tells me he is going to "transfer" me to someone to explain why they are calling. He then sits there for a few seconds and obviously just hands the phone to some other idiot who tells me his nme is Sam Taylor calling from Rogers & Donalds law firm (which as far as I can tell doesn't exist) and gives me the same story and reads off the same charges, I listen quietly and then hang up....I expect there will be more calls and perhaps I will have to change my number...but my best advice is if this happens to you, wether you took out a loan or not, is to flag your SSN #, close your bank accts, and just be careful. These people are obviously hacking information from somewhere & fishing for more info and then having the audacity to call and harress their victims.

Received the same call this morning and in fact have received several calls from the (951) 389-0292.  From reading the previous posts--the same individual must be making these calls repeating the same information.  Making threats of being arrested, life will be destroyed, I must respond within 24 hours or I will be arrested.  He refuses to give me any information regarding the account that I owe. Is there anyway some type of justice can be done for this.

Have been called, repeatedly, on my cell phone and at work. A man with a very thick foreign accent kept telling me that there are 3 criminal charges against me and asking me to confirm my ss# and call a guy named Ronnie. I tried to give him my attorney's info. ( I work at a law firm! Idiots!) and he would not take it. I hung up on him after giving the info anyway and he called my office back TWO TIMES in a row to harass me and say that he would not stop calling until I called this Ronnie person. So, I called "Ronnie" and he asked for my info. also, I said no and told him that a foreign guy keeps calling me with bogus info wanting me to call him so what did he think he was going to get out of me - THEN the same foreign guy is all of the sudden on the line telling me to - and I quote "suck my d*%k, put my d*$k in your mouth and suck it" NO JOKE! These are criminals and should be arrested! Do not listen to them, CROOKS!!! If any legal action is taken against you, you will be notified by the court, not a phone call!!!!!

Ok, he has harassed all of you, you have his phone #, it hasn't changed, you call him and harass him. We call him through out the day and tell him that he is a scam artist a thief, ask him how he sleeps at night etc.... Be careful not to threaten him but just annoy him fill up his voicemail so no one can leave him messages.
