Got the same message - however I usually ignore anyone calling me with an Indian accent --- especially when I know that I have no reason for a case to be pending against me.  There are so many scams out there that is why I constantly change my Checking Account # or my pin numbers

I had received a call from them on my cell phone and at work. they told me they were sending the police to my job and to my house to catch me and that I would have to pay them $900.00 first, and then made another amount of $4,000.00. They told me to have my attorney call them, so I took my girlfriends phone and blocked the number and said I was calling from the Law Offices of Washington, Adams, and Jefferson (that is how I knew it was a scam, they don't know our presidents...lol) and that I was requesting to know the name of the attorney that is handling the case and his California Bar Association Number. They hung up quickly and I called my Cell Provider to block their number. No calls since.

This just happened to me today.  I knew it was a scam immediately as the English was very poor and if one is being sued, you are served with documents, not phone calls as previously stated.  BEWARE, THEY ARE OUT THERE JUST PREYING ON THE INNOCENT.  They told me they were calling from the State Attorney General's office for the State of California, next they said they were calling from Law Office of John Anderson.  seems to me the State's Attorney's office should bring criminal charges against these people somehow.  If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer, blocked this number by the way.

They called and told me to drive to walmart and pay...with him still on the line!   LOL I never ever recieved any loan. These companies really need to be stopped. They are sending the police to have me arrested...and the guy that called said he will personally show up to put the hand cuffs on. WOW   How do they get away with it. Scaring people to death. I reported to FTC. Sick evil horrible scum

i got a call yesterday from a guy with a strong Indian accent he also told me i was being sued for 3 criminal charges. I asked him what charges and he said he couldnt give me any information because he was just the paralegal. He told me I needed to call John Anderson because he was the attorney handling the case. I told him I would call later because I was driving. He was very pushy and told me i needed to call him right now. I told him I would call later, then I hung up the phone. He called me back 2 minutes later asking why hadnt I called and the attorney was waiting. I told him I would call when I could. He stated that their office would be closing soon so I told him "well then I will call tomorrow". He hung up disgusted. I looked up the number online and found this posting. Thank goodness...... I have to now flag my SSN because he did have the last four numbers..........PEOPLE BEWARE!!!.

I believe they were reading their scripts and then calling to catch people like you off guard.

You don't have any charges against you....It's a scam to get your money.

You just gave me and other people an idea on how to get rid of the scammers.

The California number is HEMET, CA in the wooded area.

So I believe there is a scam ring in that area.

It doesn't exist so therefore...It's a big fat scam and there is a ring operating on that.

So I have been getting calls from these people for over a week now, at first all he left was a message saying I needed to call him back, I never did cuz I couldn't understand what the heck he was saying and then he started calling me all day every day but from a different number 404-939-8933. The calls started at 6am and I had 18 missed calls by the time I got to work at 11am. I finally answered and stated I wished to be removed from his calling list and any further calls would be reported, he said something to the effect of then I was going to jail, I needed to talk to his senior attorney. I stated I would be more then happy to continue to receive calls from him so long as he knew each and everyone was going to be reported. You see, I work at the phone company, and I know there isn't a way to stop the calls, they can always change the number, but after so many reports, the calls get linked from one number to another and eventually they get shut down. He's now started calling me from this 951 number, today I asked him if the number 404-939-8933 meant anything to him, cuz if not somebody was running the same scam and he was behind the times, he said "f*$k you and hung up on me.

This guy is crazy! He told me the FBI was coming with INS on Monday to get me. I told him it us Monday and that I couldn't wait to meet them. He called me a sand ni**er and Hung up on me.

Tell them you can't send any money BUT if they like you could send them a BIGMAC made from jersey cows ( maybe their just looking for a good beef burger)

this [***] needs to be shut down i asked for ronnie cooper he hangs up said i was going to jail who is going to do that chips. since the call coming from cal.. i kept calling like 10 times or so just giving back know what i mean. he had the the nerve to ask me why i kept calling him told him u should know your holding my information..so apparently its all a scam.. however he dos know my ss and name and phone nu. thats scary life lock here i come!!

I just got this call and they said  the FBI was coming to get me. Said there name was John Smith. But I know they called me last week and said they were in love with me and asked me to marry them...sad for them I am happily married already! I am trying to talk to my cell company to block them!!! I really hope they can.
