I also received a call from the 971-285-3130 number.  Since I'm a widow and being laid off from my job of 10 years, I was quite interested in making 38,400 a year!  I'm so glad I checked this out.  I would have been highly upset if I would have lost $69!

Same as a lot of these others, call from 971-285-3130 telling me about this wonderful work at home opportunity-LOL. Of course this scam din't get me because I know better-don't give anyone money or info if you aren't the one who solicited them for their services. A good rule of thumb to live by!

Got the call today. They say that GMI stands for Government Mortgage Insurance, but when pressed, admit they are a tird party, not a government agency.

When I informed the caller that this number is listed on the internet as a scam, he replied that "that's not true" and "If I really believe that then hang up".  So I did.

If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

Generally, any un-solicited call is a scammer, or something else on the same level.

got the same phone call today sounded like a scam.  If it sounds too good to be true most likely it is I jsut hung up and then I found this with all your comments now I going to try to contact the attorney generals office.

They are still at this. They called me and when I spoke to them I started asking questions and they hung up. Then when I called back got a DIFFERENT person with the SAME operator number and started asking her questions and she hungup. This is just ridiculous I'm going to call my attorney generals office and file a complaint.

Called my cell phone.  I added my number to the do not call list a year ago and then again this month.  This agitates me. I hate telemarketers.

I recieved this call from this number twice now. Both times they hung up when my answering machine started.

I got the call from 971-285-3130, they didnt leave a message so I called them back to hear a recording saying they want money to start working for the government...

NOTE: If you are going to work for a company you do NOT pay them, they are the ones who pay YOU. Same goes with all those work from home scams its b.s.

Hung-up as Cell phone VM kicked on.
Obviously it is a SCAMMER or Political parties looking to see who I was voting for during the 2008 election year.

This is not a legit number, do not call them back.

A call about processing government loan refunds from home, sounded like it might be good, but im glad I just hung up after reading what you guys have had to say.

I hope that this is not another company that is going to be calling and not leaving messages! There should be fines for these solicitors.

I got a call from 971-285-3130 on my son's cell phone...recording saying they finally got ahold of me...work from home, $38,000 + working for U.S. Treasury tracking down people who are suppose to get mortgage refunds...blah blah blah...sounds wonderful, so it's a scam...besides who calls cell phones to hand out gov't jobs...I worked for the gov't and filled out many pages of application...I also took the postal exam and scored a 98% and didn't get a postal job...Gov't jobs don't get handed out over cell phones....DON'T BE SCAMMED!!
