When I called the number back, I got a recording stating that "the government has a third party recovery program that will allow you to work at home earning $38,400 per year."  My number is on the do not call list.  I guess maybe that was a scam too.?

Called twice when I wasn't home and both times no message was left.

I got a call today from the (971)285-3130 which when looking up lead me to this page. I never give my cell # out mostly because it is under my sisters name who works for Verizon. I did stupidly fill out a survey 2 weeks ago to win an ipod that needless to say was never ending so I closed out. Thats when the calls from weird places strted coming in....glad I found this page :)

I received a call from this number as well. I didn't answer because i am at work...thankfully! I am glad that I did some research on this odd number....

You say it is a legit Government Job? How can I know it is? I really need a job and want to do it, but don't want to pay money that I will just loose. Let me know asap, so that if it is legit, I can start earning money. Thank you.

Feb. 28, 2008, ~2:30 PM: I did not recognize the phone number, so I did not pick up the phone. This may be the first call for us, since I don't recall seeing the number before. Based on getting the call and the other comments against this number, it may have something to do with this being the "tax scam" time of year.

Didn't recognise the name or the area code, so I didn't answer. No message. *60 will block incoming calls from that #. I don't think this is a 'special feature' . . . I think everybody can dial *60 and the prompts will tell them what to do.
I'm also arranging one entire night where myself and about 15 of my friends are going to spend about 4 hours straight doing nothing but calling these guys at their home(s). If that doesn't work, were going to start shipping unrefridgerated fish to all of their available addresses.
If all these b/s jobs were so lucrative & prosperous, wounldn't EVERYBODY in the world be doing them?  Hell . . . . nobody would ever have to leave the house for work. Think of it!  No traffic! EVER! Just rich people sitting at home scamming other rich people out of THEIR stolen money.

Hey, it just dawned on me . . . just because I'm an adult now doesn't mean I/WE can't still order endless pizzas, tow trucks, exterminators, etc..., right?
I mean, just imagine . . . 18 pizzas in one night!  4 tow-trucks!  Exterminators the NEXT day (great for their neighbour relations, by the way), a yard of fertiliser in their driveway - cash on delivery, of course. Magazine subscriptions, fruit of the month club, and OH!, howzabout the RCA or Colombia CD Club!!!? The limitations are set only by your imagination!!

January 22, 2007 We recently discovered that one of our customers was using our voice mail service inappropriately. Thank you for the person that contacted our office and alerted us to the problem. It appears that they have been dialing people on their own and illegally using our name along with a voice mail telephone number that belong to us but was assigned to this customer for a monthly fee. Voicetext is a global provider of audio and web conference calling services. We stream live and on demand multimedia. As a value added service we provide voice mail, rebroadcast lines and fax services. Our services are mostly inbound services that callers dial into a line with free will, not the outbound telemarketing type that this client was doing on their own and putting our name as the caller ID. Again, we've shut down this account as soon as we discovered what was happening

01/11/08 5:41 pm I received a phone call from 512-404-1292, caller ID "Voice Text". I stayed on the phone, I went through all the voice recordings and got a human... Mike Processor number 098, He said this was a company affiliated with the FHA Government Loans and that they provide the opportunity to individuals like myself to work from home by process FHA Loan refunds. They provide the list of the individuals for free but all I would have to do is pay the $$ (I forget the amount) for the handbook. Well I told him I needed some information. Name of Company: GMI Enterprises when I told him I never heard of such a company affiliated with the US Government, he stated that they were contractors for the US Govt, when I continued to ask questions Mike employee no 098 from GMI Enterprises who is affiliated as a "Contractor" with the US Government hung up so FAST!!!! I am also on the "Do Not Call list" report these types of callers to the Federal Trade Commission ( http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/privacy.shtm#forms )if we all start fighting back maybe we can put these type of scum bags out of business!!!I

I just received a call from 503-828-1894 regarding the job offer of processing refunds. I asked if they had a website i could go to and i was told that they did but only their agents could use it because it required a password, then i asked if i could be sent any information by mail and i was told that only info i could get by mail was my package after i gave them the $69.00 fee. I said i would have to think about it and she gave me the number 971-285-3130 to call back but it sounds fishy to me. Any legit buisness would have any additional information about their type of business by mail or internet, not just a person giving you limited info that they are reading off a sheet of paper in front of them.Anyone that has any questions about their home loans should call THEIR mortgage lender especially when it comes to refunds.
