I found a # for Value Added Communications -- 800-913-6097 -- you can check a balance, etc. 24/7 -- thank you to PMS for giving the info that led me there.  Having to deal with the whole prison system is tough enough -- it has been like trying to contact the pentagon trying to find info on the aurum tech calls.  Hope this helps someone out there.

I have set up an account however it wont allow him to talk. And I checked my funds and we have some in there

My sons father is in the NYS corr, facilty and sent up a prepaid account and he is not on the other end of the line when I try tp push the button to talk.

yea i got a call and my uncle answered. he said it was my dad cuz he's in the NYC correction facility and i didnt get to hear wat the lady said and now im thinking it was my dad :( i hope its not a scame type of thing

One is automated and is 24 hrs. a day to make payments. The other is there during business hours to speak to a rep. & set up an acct., etc.

I don't think it is a scam. For one inmates can only have so many #'s on their call list at a time.

Plus, is your father is in prison in NY...this makes sense since VAC is the one who has the bid for all of NY inmate calling system.

why are you telling people DUDE DON'T ANSWER? if it is a friend a pen pal a family member answer. i am goin to  next time here in nyc and the nj area. i am from both area.and i have family in jail and a sister in law

when you call it back it wont work,
its from a jail or prison. you have to pay next time they call or set up an account online to make calls cheaper.

I work for the Arizona State Senate and received a call from this number 972-535-7795, which I did not answer.

I have gotten 8 or 9 calls from a 1800 number today...and then the 972 535 7795 called. It is 10:20 PM. I know no one in Texas and I know no one in jail...so...VERY weird!!!!!! Kinda creepy!!!

Just got a call today from this number on my cell phone.. I can see on here that these calls are from a state correction facilty.. I couldn't understand the name when they called asking for me to accept..
