I got the call from this number as well but im from MI? And I didn't hear my phone so I missed it.. is there anyway I can figure out who had called me?

what the difference between v-direct (debitcalls.com) and v-connect? can an inmate at WA DOC call using v-direct account?

I am getting calls from this number and they never say who it is nor is there a way to call them back! What is this?

I got 2 calls today I also tried to call back to see whos calling.. got a buzy signal. Kinda freaks me out to read its from Wa DOC since my bf is a correctional officer there. .. but it looks like im not the only one.

Be careful when using VConnect.  They do provide a way to communicate with your incarcerated friends or family.  When you deposit money into an account they charge you to do so.  They charge you when you talk, and they charge you if it is not used.  When you accept a call I would encourage you to know just how much per minute the call costs.  It is very expensive.  When your incarcerated friend or family member is released you should ask to have any remaining funds returned.

Note:  I would like to encourage more use of the US Mail to keep in contact.  Most calls I have received are not very informative and made most of the time because our incarcerated son is lonely or broke and needs money.

I do not wish to receive calls from this number. Money is tight and I cannot receive collect calls.

I received a call from this as well.  The call stated it was a "collect" call from the Corrections department, but the area code is actually from Dallas, TX.  Be aware of this!

I got a call with a recorded voice of one of my friends asking me to accept a collect call from a correctional facility.  I was busy doing something else and didn't hear the state. It gave me an option of a complimentary 60 seconds talk, but I didn't remember which button to push. Also,  I didn't know if it was a scam so I didn't push anything.

Collect call from a correctional facility to an unpublished cell number.  I do not know anyone in jail nor do I care to, nor care to receive any calls from anyone that is.

my husband been callin me an everytime i pick up it disconnects ssmh...i set up an account finally so he can make collect calls now i am just waiting for him to call back i miss him soo much

i set up an account they told me i can get a refund and now noone is answering for my refund wow is this a gimmick.

Its from a jail. An Inmate is trying to reach you. You can press 5 for a 60 sec call, so ou can see if you know the person. I did not hit 5 fast enought and the call was not accepted, so I did not get a chance to see if I know the person. I live in Michigan and the person was calling from the Oakland County jail which is 30 mins from my house. I checked the inmate list but did not see anyone I know. Its best to let the person know that they have the wrong number. The number is from TX because all jails use a collect calling system.

i have got the call twice..same recording after an inmates name..cant catch the name and cant return the call, cant set up acct or nothing..what can i do???

I get these calls from a family member in NY state correctional system. It comes in on this line, but it is a switch boardline, meaning that regardless of what phone the inmate uses to call out on, it shows coming from this line.
