We got two calls in a row today from this number.  My 14-year-old daughter answered the phone the first time, and a man with an Indian or Pakistani accent said he represented Windows and that we had a problem with our computer.  My daughter told him we are Amish and don't have a computer (not true, by the way).  Then he asked how old she is.  She said 108.  He become agitated and starting arguing with her about her age.  She said she had a young voice for her age and that his company was a bunch of bullcrap, and then she hung up.  He called back immediately, and my 17-year-old daughter answered.  The man argued with her about her age and explained that he was only 22 and that she had to be younger than that.  He then implied that she was young enough to be his girlfriend.  She politely (not really) declined and hung up.

    DISTURBED ONCE AGAIN!
On 5/2/15 i received a call from 975-964-2877.  I have u-verse, the # appeared on my tv screen with name not found.  I picked up the phone & asked who's calling.  A girl replied 2x's  "windows technical department", her voice sounded a little shaky the 2nd time.  I said, "from what company?"  she hung up the phone!

I have reported this number to Windows, as they claim to be form Windows. They hang up every time I tell them my company said they are a scam.

    at work now
I answered and hear the same thing.  I asked him if he realized he had called my business phone, and he hung up on me.  I got the same type of call (not sure of the number) at my house a couple weeks ago.  I let him know that i don't have internet service on my home computer, but he insisted i did, and needed to follow his steps to let them have control over the computer.  Very pushy.  I can see where they easily take advantage of older people (if they can understand his accent)

Received multiple calls from this number today.
First couple left for VM, no message left.
Third call within about 2 hours time from 1st I answered.
Desi rep claimed to work for Microsoft, claiming that my computer was sending error messages that he could walk me through to fix.
Told the desi rep to put me on the do-not-call list, the rep knew my name, weird, thought I'd hear him out.
Walked me through a run screen issuing a command that brought me to a panel showing a handful warnings and errors.  Which supposedly proved that the computer was about to be taken over (yeah).
Next from the run screen the desi rep wanted me to issue the following command "iexplore goo.gl/399bx"
Asked what this command would do, he said it would connect the computer to their system allowing them to remove the problem file(s).
Told him there was NO WAY IN H#LL that I would allow a remote connect to my computer without prior investigation...
Suggested that he tell me over the phone what the problem file(s) were and I would clear them, no he responded.
My reply was if my computer is in that much trouble I'll drop it off at Staples or Best Buy requesting them to run a virus scan.
The desi rep was emphatic that the computer would die and I would lose all my files forever.
Just before hanging up I said "it's a good thing I back up my files and the computer is still under warranty".
    COMPUTER TAKEOVER SCAM!!!

I just received a call from this number at 2:00pm on May 7, 2015.  It was a man with a thick accent indicating that he was calling from Microsoft Customer Service and that he was calling because there was an issue with my Windows Operating System.  I told him I do not have Windows as my OS.  He said that I must be telling him a joke.  ?  The conversation continued down a similar nonsense path until finally he told me that he no longer wanted to talk to me.  This is clearly a scam.  Block the number ASAP, because this idiot will call you every day until you do.

Someone with this number keeps calling me, also, and each time I tell them to stop calling.  Today, a heavily accented man called and told me I would have to listen to him!!  Hung up and shortly after, a woman called and asked if I was Mrs. Harris, (which isn't me), and when I told her no, she became very agitated and rude and told me that I would regret not listening to her.  Hung up again, after telling her I wasn't stupid and not to call here anymore (again, for the too numerous times to count).  Have tried the do not call list but these people keep finding ways to get around that.  Good luck, people.  Just don't get suckered in!!!

Received multiple calls from this number over the last few weeks but today was the worst. After telling them again that we don't even own a computer, he kept asking me "How old you are? How old you are? How old you are? I want relationship with you. I want you."
I am scared and do not want them to call back.

"Name Unavailable"? I can think of a few names for them...

    Meidego
Caller ID said "Name Unavailable.  I do not answer numbers I don't recognize... that is the SAFEST way to handle these types of calls.  If you answer, then they know it is a working number...and pass it along to other scammers.  Don't answer numbers that you don't recognize.  If it is a legitimate caller, they will leave a message, otherwise you can be sure that you didn't want to talk to them anyway.  NEVER give out ANY personal information to someone who calls you.
