When I answered the call the person commenced to tell me about the report Microsoft was receiving regarding my PC, showing all the errors and problems on my pc  that would soon cause my PC to crash. When I asked the cost he stated I was paid up but if major flaws were found during the check there would be a charge to fix it. I worked with him briefly but could not understand his accented language (India) so I asked for someone I could understand. Another person came on board answered my question and gave the phone back to the original caller. Needless to say, I disconnected, he called back, said my pc was locked, I would lose everything etc. He called again this morning saying the need for $175 to fix the major flaw and clean my PC etc. I hung up twice, he has not called back and it has bee two hours. I called Microsoft Customer Service, they do not call people to tell them about their PC problems.

This is definitely a scam caller.  No need to allow him/her/it to upset you, simply block the number.

This number 975-964-2877 was on my TV ID Caller. I don't answer it. No matter how many times scammer call I do not answer. From what I am reading above every one said it was Microsoft - Windows. I have had calls from them before. Microsoft Windows is coming out with a Window 10 which is free to only so many people. You have to reserve your copy. WINDOWS told me they do not call people so if you answer and they say Windows or Microsoft it is a scammer because they trying to find these people scamming customer because they saying it is not free now and try to get money from you instead of getting it free. I hope this help some of you who get the calls. I keep my phone disconnected so no matter who it is if I look on TV and do not know the number I do not call them back. I am signed up for free copy of Windows 10.

This number has called my phone several times, usually without saying anything or leaving a message. When there is a conversation, it is someone with an Indian accent calling himself "Dave" or "Fred" or some other common American name. He claims to be calling from Windows about a serious problem on my computer. I tell them it is a scam and not to call me again. That has so far done no good, as they continue to call. But it is not just from this 975 number. I have been receiving such calls for two or three years from a variety of numbers.

Said that they were from Microsoft Service Center and they said that reports were being sent from my computer telling me that someone was trying to hack my computer. I said to the gentleman that I have 2 computer degrees and I know better that no one was going to be calling me to tell me that my computer was being hacked. I said you are the ones that were trying to hack my computer he argued with me and said I am not from the tech center, I said I don't care where you are calling from I will not do what you are asking of me. Told them do not call here anymore this is the second call that I have received this month. He was yelling at me I just hung up on him. I am so tired of this stuff. They need to go and get a real job like so many of the people have in our country have. Stop stealing from the hard work people in this country

Called once, no message.

2 calls received (975-964-2877 and 245-781-4722) When I told the caller they were being report for the unwanted call, he began a tirade of obscenities.  Not even one minute later the same person called from the other number.

I blocked both numbers, lets see what they come up with next . . . lol

They call ALL THE TIME.. they change their phone number constantly with the same SCAM "I'm calling about your windows computer".. I've definitely messed with them before.. But if you say you own a MAC, they hang up instantly.  Been calling for years now!

Received a call today offered to tap in the fbi and request a trace. They hung up. What a shame was hoping to trace the call :)!!!!!

Tell you your machine is accepting malware and sending data to the net. What a scam!!!!!!

This number is from a "company"  which says it is from Windows and we have a problem with our computer. The caller said his name is Henry. I ask to speak to his supervisor which he asked "why?". I said just let me talk to your supervisor. He then changed his voice to a higher pitch and again said his name is Henry. LOL I told him that Windows does NOT call you for a problem and that his call was a scam. I hung up.

Ignored the call the first time today. Second time, I answered and it was a woman with a foreign accent, sounding like she was in a wind tunnel, saying she was from Windows Service Department. I laughed and hung up.

Scam regarding my computer

Scam. They have called multiple times. Claimed to be from Windows, and that if I "didn't fix a problem, (my) computer would crash". Funny, mine's a Mac.

"Roger" the dot-head calling from "Windows Technical Support" wanting access to my computer. I told him to go put a hard one in his mother's poophole (except not that nicely).

Person called said the were from Microsoft windows security and then I had a problem with my computer and I said that was very odd considering my husband is a Microsoft partner.  The lady with the heavy Indian accent wanted to know what his name was and I told her it was Sean and she says I think I know him and I told herI don't think you know him because I know everybody who knows him! Besides any of the software on our computers is Microsoft provided and we certainly don't need someone calling us who can barely speak English telling us that we have a Microsoft Windows problem!  She hung up?!?

I am tired of all these unwanted calls.  Please block them.  I receive calls from this number several times a day.  Since I don't answer calls from unknown numbers, I do not know if these is anyone there of not.  Just tired of the phone ringing like this.
