Have been getting calls from this number for a few days now.  Never leaves a message.  Just tried to call back and got a busy signal twice.

I got a call from this number twice yesterday, and then again this morning. it woke me up which i don't appreciate. how do I block the number?

Calls every day or two and sometimes two or three times in a day.

They call me 3 or 4 times a day.  I'm going to get a whistle and give them a nice ear ache

Received numerous call from this number.  No one says anything when answered.  How do I get this number blocked or investigated.

Yes...this is a guy named Tom calling in regards to a free security system. I have had 13 calls in the last 24 hours. I finally answered the phone and told him that he is getting a reputation on the internet for being a pain in the ass...! He continued to try and get me to try his deal and I finally told him that I already have a system in place and to take me off his call list. I also told him that I will be giving his number and company name to the FTC for harassing phone calls. He hung up.

I too receive calls from Tom selling home security systems and offering a free system installed just for placing a small yard sign in front of the house.

Continue to get calls from this number even though i ask them not to call

That's actually a really stupid thing to do. Your contact lists fills up quickly this way. Just download "Droid Blocker" from Android Market.

Thanks everyone for the info - the guy identified himself as Tom.  Before he could say more, responded with "Stop calling my number, this is harrassment" and the guy hung up.

I'll let you know if it stops the calls.

This numbers keeps calling me twice a day. I want it stopped immediately.

called the number back, first couple of times i tried, i only got a busy signal. finally got through to an automated system. press "1" to get taken off the calling list. hopefully it works!

I get calls from this number: 1-978-570-2446 and don't know who or what it is. How can I stop it?

I've gotten about 20 calls from this number in the past three days.The first one said if I didn't want to recieve more calls press 1.I did,but I still get calls,and nobody is ever there.

They call me once in a while. As soon as I say Hello, I hear a beep and the line goes dead.

They are calling me several times a day!!  
I went to the "National Do Not Call Registry" and reported this number and registered a complaint: https://www.donotcall.gov/

Number keeps calling and appearing on my cell phone.

This number keeps calling me. I pressed one at the prompt to take myself off of the list and it has not helped.
