this number and one similar have been calling 6 times a day leaving no message or ID. and yes, I am also on the do not call list and have been for years.

I have been doing a little investigating on this number and have discovered other numbers that appear to be from the same jerks. Here they are:

"Tom" Home Security Group  phone numbers  from some unknown person(s).

see if you wanted to test drive a car. Sometimes used the name Tom.

There probably are other numbers. Who know who is really behind these calls. For all I know it could
be Homeland Security trying to snoop dog on everyone (just a thought). Most likely it is just some troublemakers.

Get the call at least 2 times a day.  I usually hit the ignore call button but has answered it a couple times, but nobody answerss me.

I also get an "unknown" caller several times a day.  I did answer it once and  he is babbling on about my computer.  I'm hearing impaired and couldn't hear all that he was saying, so I just said I'm not interested and hung up.  He keeps calling.........grrrr.....

From what I have been reading on this phone site this a scam. They say you have a virus on your computer and that you need to  turn it on and follow what they say to do to fix it.  In reality, they get all your information off your computer and wipe out your bank account.

I have a message cell phone and only use it for emergencies. I check the calls  once every 2 weeks.
I recieved at least 6 calls from this number in 2 weeks, no message, etc. So I called sprint and blocked the number. Its really the only way to stop marketing calls. Never answer calls if you don't know who they are and let it go to message. If its important, you can call back.

HERE IS AN UPDATED LIST: I have been doing a little investigating on these numbers used for  "Thomas Home Protection" , "Tom at Home Protection Services" ,
 " Tom with Home Security Group" and "Home Protect". The  phone numbers are most likely from some unknown telemarketer(s), pranksters
or possibly scammers. Here are some of the numbers that I have found that seem to be connected with
Home security so far, there are probably many more. Though occasionally some of the numbers are also used for other purposes-lower morgtage, credit card, test drive
a car, computer virus removal and so on, they usually eventually tie back into the "Home Security" line using the same number. You can do what you want but I am not answering any numbers I do not recognize, especially these listed here. "Tom" has made everyone here miserable with his speed dial calls all day long. He must be stopped.

I keep getting this call at least 10 times a day. The first time I answered they started asking personal questions and I hung up on them. Now I get voice mail and they leave this numerical message. Now all I do is ignore the call.

Constant calls.  No way to make them stop.  I don't understand why we have to put up with this nuisance?  There doesn't seem to be any recourse.

Call your service provider and they will tell you the steps to have the number blocked so they will no longer be able to call your phone.

These were the steps I was given by my provider xfinity/comcast:

1.) Write down their number
2.) Call *60
3.) press 1
4.) press 2
5.) enter their number
6.) press the pound sign
7.) press 5 to review your blocked numbers list or
8.) press 6 to end call

Their number should now be blocked and no longer to call your phone. If you still have issues call your provider. Keep in mind providers may have different processes for blocking calls so you could probably call first to find out if the one that worked for me will work for you.

unwanted call

received 3 calls today from this number, within 5 hours.  The last call I received I yelled into the phone stating this number is on the do not call list and I want my number removed immediately.  I also said I am reporting this to the FCC after I said this they hung up, .

I keep getting calls from this number for no reason and would like it to stop:  978570 2446 It has been happening just about every week day....5 days a week...

I just filed a complaint again this number with the do not call registry.  Hopefully it works.

Just got my first call from these guys...heading to file a complaint now!  second number I'm complaining about today!

Same story as the rest.
File an FCC complaint. If enoufgh of us do they may take action.
