Call from 1-999-999-9999 6 times in 1 hour! While I was in Class! How can I find the calling list I'm on, so I can get off of it?

really strange just got this call today 3:28 pm wednesday; called back for fun and it goes dadadada if you would like to make a call.... operator strange; reporting my incident too.  I think the aliens are hitting!  LOL

Recieved two twxt messages one immediately following the other so I googled it to find out and this is where I ended up! Nothing more so far

Received a call from 1-999-999-9999 at 10-46am Mar 14.  I wonder if this could be people illegally tapping your line to make calls to Mexico.  It's been reported before on the news.

Nope, I've never used Blockbuster, so that's not what's going on for us.

We have received a call at 10:59 am PST today. There was no one there. Have been receiving calls from other numbers with same results; always from out of the area. Is someone checking to see if the building is occupied prior to burglary?

Answered ans waited about 10 seconds. No answer til I said hello and some lady with a heavy accent asked for me. I obviously said wrong number as it seemed like a spoofed number or a fake, and cell time ain't cheap.

 I definitely do not have any Blockbuster rentals out lately. So can't be them. I'm in Canada, Ontario. they called my cell at approx. 10:20am

Have received faxes at work 14 times in 2006 which were from National Council On Health Care or Corporate Rate Travel Center or Financial Services.

I get these periodically.  It has to just be a spoofer.  I don't answer them because if they don't want me to know who is calling then I probably don't want to talk to them anyhow.

I just got 2 text messages from 9999999999 on my private company cell phone. It said that you dont know me ,and that I got your number from a friend , then gave a name maryloubell 97 Then it said to go to a sight called matchjump.net  The message was identical both times.  I dont know if this helps anyone or not .

I am not sure who it is, but I got a few missed calls from this number. I didn't bother to call it back because I figured it was a bill collector.

This was a call from UW Health Bill Collectors for me. I think thay use such a wierd number so people are curious who the hell would have a number like that and answer it. Thats what made me answer it.

on 3/28/2008 at 10:37AM.  I received a call from 999-999-9999.  The caller ID contained "Name unknown and the number 999-999-9999".  FYI

My cell phone rang with the #999-999-9999, then immediately afterwards my home phone rang with the same #. A little strange!

I just got two calls from this number 999-999-9999. Does anyone know who is behind these numbers.
