999-999-9999

It's also started today, April 14, but it's the third time in 2 hours this person or other is calling. 1-999-999-9999 ???????? What it's mean?? I don't know. What can I do??

I let it go to voice mail but there was no message :0

Just got one on my cell phone. I didn't know the number so I didn't answer. No voicemail left. I don't use Blockbuster, so I doubt it was them.

I just got the call, 1-999-999-9999, But I did not answer it, I called back on a office phone. "It stated that this call can not be placed, Please hangup and try your call again".
What's going on?

For 2 days now i have been recieving this number on my caller ID . I rufuse to answer because I don't answer any calls from numbers I don't know I don't know. I have never seen an number like this in my life time. but it is getting real anoying. I don't know who or what they want but i know if know one answer there pnone . I would have given up by now.

this was a text message from the number 999-999-9999 sent to a friend of mine that just had a baby 5 days ago and the message read  " I HOPE NO ONE DOES TO YOU &YOUR SON WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO OUR FAMILY"  and the call back number was 999-999-9999 how can you figure out who calling or if this was sent from a computer or what... shes freaked out and scared because shes just had a baby boy!@!

Please to have these [***] to quit call my number. Who has time for this kind of crap? What about the so called no call registry. Nice work American government. If I find out who they are .. they WILL stop.

I first received a call from 999-999-9999 and did not answer. A few minutes later a call came from 503-345-4288, Verafast. This 999..... computer must have half a brain to redial from the 503 #. No message was left with either call. I'm also on the national do not call list, very disappointing. I'm going to try hitting the # key repeatedly next time they call.

Just received another 999 area code.  I have been receiving calls from this number for the past week. I refuse to answer it, as it is on my cell phone and I don't want to lose minutes because of an idiot telemarketer.  My cell number has been on the DNC list for over 2 years.  A lot of good that did.

I just got a call from 999-999-9999 @ 8:50am 04/19/08.  They asked for me by name and I answered yes to acknowledge myself, and they didn't reply.  I kept saying 'Hello'.  I would to know what the hell is going on.  Do they have that right to do that?

calls at least once a week and a recorded message gives a womans name and then a 1-866 number to call

i also have been getting this 999-999-9999 on my cell with the music playing what is really going on, i been getting the call coming in 3 or 4 times a day now,  it started 2 weeks ago. i call the operator they said they know anything listed with the 999-999-9999 #s i even call the company i deal with my cell phone, and they never heard of it either, are there anyone out there know whats going on with this?

i have been getting the 999-999-9999 3 or 4 time a day, who is doing this? and all it does is play music, no one never on the line.

Just got one from 999-999-9999 at 5:14 pm today.  According to an urban legand web site, this number is used by collection agencies and unscrupulous telemarketers who don't want call-backs.  Blockbuster seems to be the biggest offender.  Too bad nobody can figure out how to stop the calls.

I have had calls from the Clinton campaign and the ID said Hillary Clinton. I have had a message to stay on the line for some deal to fix my credit card debt even though I don't have one. When I asked them how they got my number because I don't have one...they hang up. I get a busy signal when I returned the call.

I get a call from the same # several times a day with NO VM.  This is so annoying!!! How do we report it?
