Telemarketing Script
Here is a list of questions to ask each telemarketer when they call you. Print these questions, and put them next to the phone. Telemarketers are required by law to answer each of these questions. Write the answers down and as well as the date, time of the call, and anything else that will help you remember the call.

- Its Time replies to THEbestINtheCOUNTRYMost teens and twenty year olds work as telemarketing for a while until they grow up. Many of us have been successful at it. If you want to raise money for charities, work for the charitable organizations. Telemarketing companies take most of the funds you raise and give a tiny portion to the charity. I guarantee YOU are NOT saving any children from dying! Ask your company what percentage of the funds you raise actually go to the charity. You should really learn how to spell while you are at it too. I can guarantee you will find a better job!

Want to bet? Tell me the company you work for & the companies they represent.. If your sure a bright 21 year old, post back, maybe we can work out an arrangement when you get fired, leave.. we can make some real cash from the companies due to exactly what your stating - Evets replies to WilliamThis is true, my attorney also advised to tape all calls as it is legal in this state. I taped a call and asked similar questions and then before the call was over, I rewound what I had and played the tape back to the caller. A quick hang-up followed, by them, and I never had another call.
- saywha? replies to JazLet's see. I hate telemarketers because I'm a telemarketer too, robbing peoples' money?
And, people scam because of "us" and what we tell telemarketers?
I"m going to have mend my way, I guess. Didn't know all hate for telemarketers was my fault.
Sceech. - Josie replies to ajActually, your company can get charged ridiculous amounts of money. You are only 21, so I'm not surprised this doesn't occur to you: if the company you work for loses enough money, they start letting employees go. Fourtunately for you, the uneducated young employees with little to no prospects tend to be the last to lose their positions since they are least eligible for pay increases. At some point though? Everyone is up for the block.

- BuckyPlease try registering at a site called NOMOROBO I did this 4 days ago and what a difference it has made. Not sure I understand it all but when you register your tel # and a known telemarketer calls the call is transferred from your # to another special # that blocks the call. My phone doesn't even ring although it is listed on my call log.
- RobertI turned my land line, which if any telemarketer had my number it was the land line, into a cell line for only $10 per month. That line was costing $45 per month. I never answer this phone. It is hooked to an answering machine. If anyone important calls they can leave a message and I can call them back. My wife and I each have cell phones. Our friends and family have our cell numbers. So I never have to deal with unwanted calls. Every call to my home is screened thru the answering machine.

Probably goes home after "work" and plays computer games in mommy and daddy's basement....and will when he's 40. - Just A Guy replies to Chas| 1 replySome guy in England did that a few years back. He "billed" the telemarketing company, and when they refused to pay, he took them to court.
