    • Yes, there do seem to be a few really hateful, angry people on here. There's always a few bad apples in the bunch. If you go against what they say they will report you and then you will be flagged. As you say it is personal and petty and very immature. But what's new? The internet is full of that.

    • I get at least 1 call per day advertising "medical alert" something or other. Some of the calls are in Spanish. The ID is always a different number.

I am working with my bank to get the money back now, THESE PEOPLE ARE...

    • Why do so many scammers use bad spelling, grammar, and punctuation?

    • What you describe does sound like an attempt to trick spam filters. But both Mike and LAMET are correct. Much of the tele-scams and Email scams are from overseas, from non-English-speaking regions and, thankfully, their atrocious spelling and grammar make them stick out like sore thumbs. In fact...

    • Who does that? • Yeah, someone pointed that out and it was because it was late at night, I had copy/pasted from the scammer's ad and didn't notice it at the time. I have since posted it in the correct thread.

    • I love this lady, I saw her story on the national news. She was just bored doing her crossword puzzles on that day. She never messes with these scammers, but something made her do it. She took the criminal down with an envelop of paper towels, not money! You go girl!
