    • A “Potential Spam” call is from Verizon Wireless and was flagged using call screening software. They have been doing that for several years, nothing new about it. Other providers have similar CID displays, such as "Scam Likely" or “Spam Risk”.

    • Well, it's not like these tricks are new, I've always had to deal with them.... I didn't know they were scams though, I just thought that it was the standard modus operandi for most companies. I mean, Netflix's or Tinder's subscription systems aren't that far from what's described there...
