    • It is so sad, just when you think scammers couldn't stoop any lower, they think of a new one. Hopefully, more military vets will ask the right questions and stop them in their tracks, at least for that phone call.

    • Entire middleman services exist to help blast calls and handle traffic, "spam harbors" which will later claim no responsibility for how paying clients (ab)use their network access. FTC, DoJ, et al have signaled recently that this laundry isn't washing anymore. And the web equivalent is Cloudflare.
