Bull!
Ignore it. Log off or you will just be called upon to give up your email address to many merchants wanting to sell you junk! - Chris replies to Alex Griegoyes...we all know............

EVERYONE should know about this by now ! - DAVEI got a call from a telemarketer saying that i have won a $100 walmart card
asked me to pay $2.95 with any card. i did so. did not give CVV number.
got the card worth $90.
its a scam. but worth! :P - KARMADave, are you one of the scammer? IT"S an obvious SCAM. Don't even let people think that your gift card arrived!
- japerez| 3 repliesThis is a scam and I was so stupid and felt 4 it and checked my bank account and found 2 -$1.00 transaction from vision core so I Google it and I'm finding all this reviews :(
- not Michael replies to japerezContact your bank to get the charges rejected. Do it NOW, before the scammers empty the account. The phone number is on your statement or on the back of your credit or debit card.
- Jon replies to Sonja SmithI got a call from the same people. Well, I take that back. I got stupidly curious. I recieved a letter in the mail and called the number out of sheer curiosity. When they got my card information, I had a delayed reaction, and the red flag went up after they got my info. They told me they were going to charge me $5.90, but they would hold off on it. I hung up, and they called 3 times back to back. I told them thanks but no thanks, then was told they already charged my account. I was harassed, and my card was stolen and now I may have to file for bankruptcy. But you bet your ass when I find out who the guys are, I'm suing them for every cent they stole from me.
- karlaI was offered a $1000 dollar voucher to use for anything I wanted in the store. Also, I had signed up to win a Walmart gift card. I wonder if this has anything to do with that??
Is there any legitimate companies out there anymore? If you know of any, please pass along the information.
Thanks, Karla west krwest1115@gmail.com - Angel in VA. replies to STEVE| 2 repliesI called and the agent told me he worked for USA Benfit in Arizona
- Victim| 1 replyI dialed the toll free number to my bank's credit card customer service and hit 0# to get out of the IVR system to speak with a live representative. Suddenly I was speaking to someone in India who told me that I was a prize winner because I had to wait on hold for a representative for my bank. Long story but within 20 minutes I recognized this as a scam and asked for the license number, legal business name, etc. and was told that they could not give out that information. I called the credit card company that declined the $1.00 *test charge fee* and was able to get the business name, Core Vision Group. Check out this BBB report...http://www.bbb.org/west-florida/business-revi ... ark-fl-90108963. I am reporting them to FCC, my credit card company and whomever else I can contact. Please do the same if you have been contacted by this scam company in any way, shape or form. While I never provide information to companies that make outbound calls to me, I was deceived in this situation by my thinking that my bank was holding a promotion for not being able to answer the call within X amount of minutes. Typically, I am totally cynical about services like this but in this case I stupidly fell for it because I had dialed the correct toll free number for my credit card's customer service department. Now I feel like a total idiot but everyone needs to be warned about scams like this so here I am, admitting to stupidity, in order to hopefully prevent others from falling for this scam. This is a travesty and I will not let this company get away with this and if you're reading this, I would suggest that you also report them to the FCC.
- Evelyn Smith| 7 replies( JOY NELSON ) he is doing scam.
Be alert, its Crap.
I called To my phone company and one guy answer me and asked me if i would be inerested in $100 Reward card for shopping at Walmart and Target because i am valued customer. And he asked "can you afford $3.95 for shipping and handeling?" i said yes and he asked me for my credit card first i said no and he was talking like he dont care about my cc, and unfortunately i gave him. I asked him information about him and he said Company name- Smart Shoppers Club, Name- Joy Nelson, Extension number- 15131JN, Employeement no- 20508. He completed everything and gave me passcode for reward card. i never received anything but they are charging me everymonth for services. - JenifferI've been duped into getting an insurance and being charged before. The lesson here people is to be mindful of your purchases. Check your receipts, people. I do.
- Megynn from NMI had the same thing happen and I am usually smarter than this, but I totally fell for it. I was calling DirecTV to reinstate my account. I gave them info, went through the whole thing, and then realized it was probably a scam when the didn't transfer me back to DirecTV. I thought it was some sort of promo through that company. How frustrating! I immediately called my bank to cancel that card and was only charged the $1 test charge. So they'll be blocked from charging my account further. I will be reporting them also. The charge on my account was from CORE VISION GRP PINELLAS PARK FL, and was almost immediate.
- judy replies to japerez| 1 replyThey got a dollar from me also, core vision. I also cancelled my debit card. I'm not worrying about the dollar so I'm letting it go. I imagine those dollaars add up. They are probably making alot of money by the end of the day.
