- Yeah Right replies to TheRealSeriously®| 2 repliesCall blockers can help but are not fool proof. Then you use the word simple when the opposite is true. Scammers will most always change or spoof their number making it harder for you to stop the calls. Ignoring calls from sources unknown may reduce the amount of junk calls but will not eliminate them. I speak from personal experience. I let unknown calls go to voicemail and if it is important they will leave a message. Yes, there are some call blocking apps on my phone. They do help to a certain point but a call blocker is not a one size fits all solution.
- Kat replies to Yeah RightYou are correct in your statement that call blockers help to a certain point. However, they are the best choice for most people and DO do a lot of good. Many of them allow you to block entire area codes, which dramatically decreases scammers chances even when they change numbers.
Unfortunately, there is no "one size fits all solution". - chainsaw replies to kristaDon't answer the phone, how simple can that be???
- E.C. replies to Ang| 2 repliesAdd phone number do not call State and federal. $5000 fine if they do call.
- Kat* replies to E.C.Your post is 9 years too late. Besides, the DNC list only applies to telelmarketers. This thread is about a debt collector, not a telemarketer so no, they won't get a "$5000 fine if they do call." You would know this if you had bothered to read what the DNC list does and doesn't do when you signed up for it.

“It is better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.” - GregAtTheBeach replies to Yeah RightTrue for cell phones, but for land lines, a challenge-response type call blocker device is 100% effective. I've had one for about five years, and no telecriminal has ever dialed through the challenge. Not a single one...ever, and I typically get ten or more scam calls a day. (I can see them on my phone's CID log.) The best part is that the phone doesn't ring, not even once, for telecriminal calls. White-listed callers get through like normal. Bliss in a box.

- angela| 1 replyHave had multiple phone calls on a debt that was paid off 6 months ago and when I tell them to send the information to the address on file they repeat my current address for me to confirm and I state once again send the information to the address on file. Their website now is https://www.affglo.com/ not http://www.globalcollection.net for it will redirect you to the new one.
- Question replies to angelaDid you use this website properly by posting in the correct thread for the number that called you?
- Davida| 2 repliesSo the caller is global Radius. They are a collection and servicing company for the IRS. The person who contact you should have a badge number and they refer you to the IRS website that is legit and you make payments there. They do use many different numbers that is why I look it up. when I get a call. they can be harassing if you dont pay up. But if you pay something they back down.
- BigA replies to DavidaNo, the caller that this thread is about is not that company. You should learn to read, and then read the other posts before posting so that you don't look foolish. For one the company name is RADIUS GLOBAL SOLUTIONS not "global Radius". The second thing is that they are located in the US, unlike this company which is located in Canada.
- Kat* replies to DavidaIf you look up the number when they call, why are you here and not in the number thread? In fact, why are you even on this website? You claim the calls are legit and state you know who they are so why would you come to a phone number look-up site?
