"Wow, an American shill!" You know how to spell and capitalize, so you cannot be one of your illiterate Indian co-horts! So your in the states working/shilling for your collection agency employer.

You are not alone, sweetie.  I am an elderly person.  Tuesday I received a call from Global and the young man immediately asked my name and gave me my last 4 digits of my SS #.  He then proceeded to tell me that I had bad check debts, owed this and that and would have continued on but I cut him off.  He then told me they had tried to go into my bank to get the money to pay off these debts but did not give me the bank info or name.  This is their way of getting you to produce all this info.  I suggested he loose my name and number and not call me again.  I also informed him that I was contacting the police, the BBB, the Attorney General(which won't do squat), in both states and also my attorney, the DA and the Federal Trades Commission in Washington DC.  I am in the process of completing all this today.  The no I received my calls from was 844-216-5235.  You know, the funny thing is I can't remember when the last time was that I wrote a check as I have used my bank card since the beginning of time.  I intend to take care of these people legally and if they are all the same people we can get up a Class Action Suit against them.

I totally agree with you.  Once upon a time, our government was here to serve us,  The constitution still mattered, we were free to say our Pledge of Allegiance, and to be able to trust our country to watch over us.  Now it is all about money and many of us are not even given a second glance as human  beings who once and still do love this country.  Sorry, I think I went a bit overboard.  You are so right when you say ' instead of keeping this evil outfit in check, the government protects and supports them because it gives them a way to skirt many of the legal constraints on the behavior of law enforcement.'  Perhaps the bottom line is that people need to realize what is happening and act on it as you infer.  Will it happen?  I doubt it.  Sometimes the truth can be extremely pessimistic and I believe this is one of those times.
