Fake payday loan collection scams - Please list new numbers here [2]

someone from a local spoofed or unknown number leaves a message to call 1-866-579-5531,,,,guy said someone filled claim and charges against me. the claim number is 1849839.the go by several different names names, mike Sanders, Joy Taylor are the last two. When I called the number to cuss them out they have an elaborate phone system set up to sound legit. They call themselves ACCURATE. This is currently a live number, not sure for how long. I've got complained in to the inspector generals office, FBI and FCC. They are ringing mine and my family's phones off the hook, but hang up when you answer, but keep leaving voicemails. One did call my desk which blew my mind. The nerve of these scum bags.

Got a call today on cell and work number...couldn't get any information from the heavy accent call. we have caller Id at work and on my cell it is from Indonesia..620-628-3741 His name is Galvin Cooper and he cannot even say his name right. He said I have a pay day loan which they are preparing me to be arrested at work and the only thing he can do is wish me luck as the situation falls on me and that I will be i prison for a very long time. I do have a payday loan...that is current. Do they sell your information?
I do not like the fact he was calling me at work and I told him to call my cell he said we are attorneys we can call whereever we want. when I asked for a copy of a bill or something mailed to me...they ignored the question...
They called back when he told me all my personal information which was WRONG!! and just my name and phone numbers are correct. He called back at my office and told off our receptionist telling her she was an idiot and dumb and he wanted my manager so he could get me fired. OMG!!!

Got a call today from the same company looking for an individual whom I do not know.  Same last name, however. Stated this person owed money.


I asked for their phone number and the name of the company which the individual gave me.  Stated he worked as an agent  or sub contractor a company.  The company's name was given to me  as "Accurate".

The phone number  is the same as in the message below (866-579-5531) .  I called the number and it sounded like I reached a "boiler room" operation with many other conversations taking place.  I asked that my name and number be taken off their list the individual agreed to do this.  I asked if they were a collection agency and he said no, that they  were a processing, not collection agency and attempting to collect/process pre -litigation claims.  

I contacted the local police department and filed a report.

I have been getting calls from a "Ryan Smith" he leaves the number 866-812-3328 to call back but calls are coming from a land line on Block Island, Rhode Island.  He calls from the number 401-859-0558. That number does not take incoming calls.  When I call the 866 - 812 - 3328 it goes to a company name Accurate. He left a message for my husband saying there are charges pending and he has our address and will be coming to serve my husband with papers. He has also contacted my sister Looking for my husband. We have filed a complaint with the local Police Department.

My husband applied for some online loans and they have been blowing his phone up so he called back acting like one of them & said they were approved they all of a sudden got happy then he told them they were a scam and they got very angry with him saying they would f**k his wife & all kids of rude things you could tell they were using a fake accent ! They are using google numbers .

That exact same number has called me 5-6 times per day for the last few days or so claiming I have been approved for a loan in which I would pay installments.  I was looking for a cash advance but I am not sure if this is a scam or legit

I applied for a payday loan last week but NEVER got any type of loan.  Now a phone number is calling me 8 times a day and when i finally answered it was an Indian or Hindu person I could not understand him telling me that I needed to call a lawfirm because I had criminal charges pending against me.  I called the number back and was told that in the last 18 months I took out a payday loan and never paid it back so the cops were going to come to my workplace and house.  I have never taken a payday loan, received any type of correspondance for any type of law suit, and this only started happening since the application I filled out last week

I received a call today from a 213-375-3945 a Eric Peterson said that he was with Curran & Brownstone? or something like that and that an arrest warrant was being issued for me for four felony counts of wire and bank fraud.  He said that I would be arrested and would have to pay $6950.  This is a scam and I reported them to the FBI, FTC and IC3.

Global Pre-Litigation and their "Locators" have been blowing up my phone, my families and my employer.
(877) 641-7875 (Global Pre-Litigation number) (423) 218-1270 (Locator)... I returned the favor to the 877 number and they blocked my number, so I called them 327 times over skype which they cannot block. I had friends and family do the same. Just pressed random numbers on the keypad, high pitched whistles, screams, dubstep music and car horns. They started pressing touch tone pad back as soon as they received the calls, used profanity and hung up etc. These scammers don't like it when it's done to them! No, I will not give you my address to serve me papers and no, I do not have charges against me. Hope they die a slow painful death of gangrenous hemorrhoids.

I’m happy that I was able to find someone else claiming the same thing with the same call back number. Someone by the name of Jake Brown keeps calling me with a stern voice obviously trying to scare me (if you pay close attention to the voicemail is sounds scripted) He says that there has been a claimed for charges filed against me and asks to call 866-579-5531 to verify my address and place of employment and continues to say that this is my last opportunity to avoid further action. Hmmm? I called back and asked them for their company information and the girl only said that they were a processing firm and I asked her for what and she asked me for my claim number, when I refused to give her that information without her first telling me about her company she got real snotty and refused to give it up unless I confirmed my address. I then told her i knew she was a scam and that if this was truly a legal matter the law would have my address and know where to serve me, I kid you not she deserved an Oscar for being such a good actress. She yelled back and said excuse me! No we are not! lol, that's real professional. Any who I reported it to my cell phone provider and they confirmed that the number 866-579-5531 has been associated with scams in the past and to ignore all future calls form this number. These people have gone as far as contacting very distant family of mine who I no longer talk to. How did they find that information?

Have you Googled your name lately ? Some sites, like Spokeo, provide a ridiculous amount of information, and it isn't always accurate.

Another number for the forum is 7165144880. The contact person is Semira. Says I owed money to paydayone which I know I have paid in full quite some time ago. Also say I owed 727 dollars from august 2012.

I received a call from 301 952-3768, the person that called me said her name was Ms. Blackwater, she said she was calling from Prince Georges County Courier, said she was trying to set up a time to come and servie me some papers, RED FLAG IF YOU ARE BEING SERVED A SUMMONS THEY DO NOT CALL YOU AND SET UP AN APPT, I am so sick of these people, it all starts when you go online and apply for a payday loan and they somehow get your information and start calling you at work with the scam about you owing for a payday loan and try all these scare tactics to get you to pay, dont fall for it, especially when you know you dont owe it, i worked in collection dept before, and when someone is saying you owe money, they are suppose to send you all copies of the original paperwork, not just a letter saying you owe, i also tell them the call is being recorded which i do record the calls, i am keeping a log of all these calls, the phone numbers, what they are saying and the name they gave me, they call from a number in your area code, and then give you the 855 253-0842 number to call with a suppose case number
