If you think you didn't do anything wrong, why don't you go to the FTC and tell them so. I'm sure once you explain everything you did, who you worked for, where you worked, what you said and who you called--everything-- I'm sure they'll understand and then won't our faces here at 800Notes be red. Total vindication is just a phone call away. Go ahead, call...
But some reactions (ours) are more equal than others :-)

I check my missed call log, and any names and/or numbers I do not recognize, I do not call back. With Caller ID, I check the name and number, and if it looks bogus, I hit the Cancel/#3 key on my vtech Dect6.0 phone, and that ends the call right then and there. Sometimes, though, I will let the call ring through so that the caller will think this is an inactive number. Perhaps, by ringing off too quickly, the caller "knows" that there is someone "live out there". You gotta fight, and keep trying new strategies.
Too bad spoofing is illegal or else, we could've spoofed their own numbers. Some of their inbound numbers work, and they actually answer the phone but the hard part is finding the working number. The rest are blocked on purpose. They can't take what they dish out.
The one drawback to spoofing numbers ... right there! We can't because it is illegal! But it would be great to shove their same cr*p back down their throats (with the number of calls programmable to where it would be all day ... on a repeated/regular basis).
And it's also too bad that we can't find those numbers that do work too ... they use way too many spoofed numbers. The last you mentioned, as we all know, is because they are weak stupid little cowards that hide inside their boiler rooms from the real world.
Like to track down his home phone number and start calling him!

This is B.U.D. My SENIOR relatives are harrassed by these COWARDS all the time. I've contacted the FCC a gazillion times about these BOGUS phone calls.
RACHEL at CARD HOLDER SERVICES is BOGUS. Hiding behind that GAME is a bunch of COWARDLY TERRORISTs.
I am going to contact the PROPER AUTHORITIES and have these people ARRESTED and tried in COURT as the cowardly TERRORISTs they clearly are !!
Keep smiling ! The FBI (or even higher) may be dealing with these TERRORISTs real soon.
Please do see the Latest News postings here at 800notes about how Rachel and her merry crew have gotten a slap on the wrist.
Educate yourself, your family, and others about spam/scam/phishing phone calls and e-mails.
In the forums here at 800notes, look for the titles all in caps. Most of them are by me about my theories about "Phone hobbyists", QuiBids, OFFERDNE, and Pacific Telecommunications.
NOTE: The women who originally made the Rachel/Ann/Hannah recordings in about 2006 no doubt get the same spam/scam/phishing phone calls we do, and they have to suffer hearing their own voices parroted back at them!
The card services scammer calls me every few days usually alternating between "Rachel" and "Debbie". Usually it's some Indian who can barely communicate through his broken English, they don't like it when you laugh and mock them.
