The card services scammer calls me every few days usually alternating between "Rachel" and "Debbie". Usually it's some Indian who can barely communicate through his broken English, they don't like it when you laugh and mock them.

More contact info below. Seems more legit than the address from the BBB. This was acquired via the Ohio Attorney General's consumer complaint database. According to said database, the consumer complaints department actually received a response from "Cardholder Services" regarding unsolicited phone calls when they wrote a letter to this PO box. You may make a public records request via the website for the full report. If the information is accurate, it makes it easier to file a suit against them in small claims court for DNC violations.

    PO BOX 105341
    Atlanta, Georgia

Another Rachel call tonight using a spoofed local area code. Call blocker took care of it for me.

Gods above... THIS [REDACTED] JUST WON'T STOP!

Now instead of getting a random number back from *69, I got my HOME number read back to me instead.

What needs to happen to these idiots is a good long prison sentence.

Got a call from card services today spoofing my phone number.  I answered because I wanted to see who it was.  When spill started I hung up, a new low for these pond scum.

Like others above - The CallerID showing is a spoofed number that shows: MY PHONE NUMBER and MY NAME.
Which is an extra twist to it all. First of all "National Do Not Call Registry Complaint" blocks the complaint, because you can not use your own CallerID in the complaint (use a false number and name like "1234567890" and "My Name" to send a complaint (I did)
Another general thought: One would thing the FTC would put stronger rules for the CallerID so not everybody can spoof and change it at will - I think that would solve many problems (like this one). I do not know who enforces the CallerID rules, but that should be looked into so spoofing can not take place.

I've noticed that the card services scammers are spoofing numbers that are very close to mine - off by just a couple digits.  I suspect this is to get around the nomorobo service.

They are doing the same thing to me as well, I almost answered thinking it was a friend or neighbor as the number was so similar, almost familiar (to my own), does anyone have info on what this new call type is and how they are doing it, is it just another spoofed call made to be misleading?

I have received 2 calls in the last week showing my name and phone number on the caller ID.  I was curious, so I answered, and it was "Rachel."  I did not answer the second time.  Please, can't somebody stop this???  Every day I am getting 5 or 6 calls from these telemarketers and scammers.  Two weeks ago on Saturday night at 10 p.m. I got a call from "Kevin" who does chimney cleaning and power washing (a recorded message).  I can't stand it any more!!!

Got two calls on my phone one was 207 584 9822 the other was 518 417 9721 both were "spoofed" numbers Tried to get info on #s because they keep changing them. Later my spouse answered the phone because it was my number and my name on the phone but I was in the kitchen cooking so it wasn't me. When she answered the phone wondering how it could be me, the caller said she was from Rachel card services. I suppose there is "50 Billion Shades of Gray" when it comes to "baiting people". Rachel card services were using my name and phone # to call my spouse. So if your spouse calls make sure its your spouse ask a question that only your spouse would know like a birthday. This misuse of privacy (spoofed #;s ) information, misinformation etc. far exceeds the intention of the privacy laws and makes the NSA look like "child's play" . Some of it possibly gets confused with the NSA spying. Seems to me it should be a crime to use a spouse's or relative's number to scam or bait another.
