    1)   The scammers have never been to the US.  They have no idea what sort of distance and travel time any trip entails.
    2)  He wants you to think that you are going to miss out on a great deal if you don't act immediately.  He does not want to give you time to think about what he said and realize its a scam.

If you are late calling him back I'm sure he'll make an exception "just for you" and continue with the scam

    Ask yourself these questions:

Did I take out any payday loan?
Did I ever take out an online payday loan?
Did I ever take out any kind of loan?
    Do I owe anyone?

If the answer to the all are "no" ... then the call you got is definitely a scam! These bozoo's are calling everyone with the same bs!

    Probibally a scam.

If you never took a payday loan out, then you're safe.

If this person is talking about garnishing $2400 out of each check, you would have to be making about $9600.00 a check. I think one can only garnish about 25 - 30% of one check, but that's only what other people have said on other sites.

Got same call Payday for America, I think it is a scam, if you need a Payday Loan, her is few reputable companies, I have used  Cash Jar, Bayside Cash, Speedy Cash and Cash Store, plus Springleaf Financial.

I even had a guy offer me 8400.00 dollars saying it was a government grant, this really urks me for people to scam hard working person(s).

thank you for the post, my mother often gets REAL payday loans, but unfortunately gets these scam calls all the time. I can tell when she gets one because they always want her to put money on a walmart card first (which I am assuming must be an american fake payday loan place)  and she gets mad and starts cussing them out, which they then do the same to her and then it ends up in a "stop calling me you fraud" type thing, and then hangs up. to my surprise, they always get someone else to call back as if its legit. What is really funny, is that if you are late for a payment with a REAL payday loan company, they always have some indi-asian guy call saying they are a lawyer and have filed a suit and will press charges if so much money is not paid. In that case, simply tell them t f**k off and file the suit.... no real lawyer would waiste their precious ,money makin time to make a threatening phone call. OR HERE IS THE REAL KICKER, I had someone call for my sister saying they were an FBI agent investigatinng fraud!!!! LOLLMFAO. if that is the case, ask them for a badge number and tell them you are going to report them to superior. they usually hang up pretty fast. but sometimes they will argue with you about how it is for real.... If the FBI was after you, they would not call first, they would just knock on your door lol.

Sorry, but I have difficulty reading the term "reputable" in the same sentence as "payday lending". The whole business model is predatory and usurious and targets the very people who can least afford a self-renewing "poverty tax".

I was told by Payday Loans of America that I was approved for a loan in the amount of $1200. His name was Kevin Jones and he said I had to make my first payment of $150 by using the green dot moneypak. I loaded the money and gave Kevin the number for the moneypak, he told me the money would be deposit within 45 minutes. I didn't receive any money so I called him back and he told me because of my credit I needed to load additional $287 onto the card, but I never did. I knew then it was a scam. I told Kevin Jones I wanted my $150 back and he stated it was non refundable and that legal actions wete going to be taking against me. I cuss him out good and hung up. I even checked the moneypak website ans it states to avoid someone asking for the number over the phone.  Please be careful and aware of them. The number for Kevin Jones is 347-478-4762

If you need a loan, just get a payday loan. It can help build your credit.
