DEA SCAM 206-497-1417 & 206-553-5543

I called and reported them after getting the number from the link listed here, but only got to leave a message on voicemail.  I have not received a call back yet!  Has anyone received a call back after reporting this or has anyone spoke to a live person?  I am tempted to call my local DEA.

I received the same call yesterday, from the same "agent" with the same phone number.  CRAZY!!!!  They must still be at it.

I had the same "DEA" agents contact me as you did.  Jay Bergman and Matthew Barnes. Never talked with them. They left a message.   My neighbor is an actual DEA agent so I had him leave a message on the phone number they left for a call back number.  And it wasn't a nice one!  He told me about the nation wide hoax!!!!

I just want to thank Sheesh., Because i had order some Xanax from overseas. Some guy posing as a DEA agent (so I later found out) called me at my work. His number is 410-975-8734. He claimed he had intercepted my order and that if I work with him that the Judge in Santo Domingo, Dominican Repulic, would drop the charges.  Scared the crap out of me. He said if I send him $1,727 dollars by Money Gram that he coud fix it. At this point I was about to throw up. I came home and googled the number and came up with the same number that Sheesh had gotten. He gave me one hour to send the money. I did not send the money , but he kept call for about 5 hoursbut i would not answer finally he left me alone. Yes this is a scam. If you get a call like that, just GooGle it and see all the reports. Yes he also told me the DEA agents would come break down my door . Glad it came to this site.Oh this all happened on March 27, 2013. If i were you i just will not answer there repeat calls. Thanks again to Sheesh for it was the same number.

Oh i forgot later that day when i got home from work ,my package was in my mail box, it was due anyday, that did convine me that hr did not have it . Remember he gave his name as David Marinez, Phone number 410-975-8734.

Got a call yesterday from a David Martinez with the "DEA" yesterday.  Scared the crap out of me and my wife.  Luckily he gave me a call back number of 410 975 8734 and I found out about the scam.  He called from a cell phone with the number of 703 982 1207.  He finally ended the call yelling at me as I kept questioning the legitimacy of the call.  He wanted me to pay 1600 dollars for some fine.  Reported him to the authorities.

Just got a call from fake DEA (3rd time in  18 months) phone number 212-570-7775 x4129. Its amazing when you know they are fake and the control now goes back to you. Everytime that son of a [***] told me they were issuing a warrent I laughed and asked them what do you think the penalty is for impersonating a real agent? I  finially hung up as that idiot kept up his bull crap!. Turned in his phone number to the REAL DEA!

Claimed to be an agent for the DEA named Mark Waller. Claimed that I was being "brought up on charges" for purchasing medication online. I explained I had no idea what he was talking about and asked him why would he contact me by phone to tell me this. He said someone would be out to pick me up. I said I had googled his number and found out it was a scam. He said I would be apprehended and hung up. I guess the 13 year old boy who tried to scam me will go back to playing pitfall on his atari now.  By the way, report anyone to the DEA who threatens you or tries to scam you. We just got this phone call.SCARY......He was horrible....

I got the same call today!  I told him I had no idea of wth he was talking about.  He said I was going to be arrested and carted off to the DRepublic for trial!!!!  Scared the sh** out of me!!!  Thank goodness I found this,  how is this guy getting away with this?  Wanted me to pay an $1800 fine or they would come to my house with a warrant!

No one from the DEA or any other federal agency will call you about  criminal charges over the phone....ever!  These morons are playing on others weaknesses...don't give em a dime!  A definite scam using real DEA names and titles.  Problem is they are probably out of the country tapping into local lines and don't really care about impersonating a federal or any other officer.

I GOT A PHONE CALL TODAY AT MY WORK FROM 904-551-2055. This is a company that got your information from a loan that you applied for online. (in my case thats how they got my information) they are scam and whay they do is call you either by personal phone or company number and try to scare you into paying them via money gram. in my case they claimed i recieved a loan from mycashnow and i didnt pay them back. they threatened to have me arrested and charged. i called my bank and had them search my records for any loans from this company and or any other company with that amount. she found nothing, she even search months prior and months after and found nothing. i called my local sheriffs dept and the sherriff found it funny and said "let them come arrest you" for 300 dollars. she also told me to block their # and inform my company of the harassment. (: i filed a police report for harassment and also false identification due to the lady by the name of "morgan" identifying herself as a county employee.  

if you get harassed by these people just take it as a slap on the wrist and a lesson learned. do not apply for loans online. if you have to get a loan use cashnetusa.com or call the company u want to place a loan with and place it online. never give out your social online or any of your info. scam companies will use it to try and get money from you. they are really good at it. my advice is next time they call you (if you havent blocked their number already) keep them on the line and ccx to 911! also, file a police report so your actions are recorded.
