"The Vehicle Processing Center"

I am recieving calls repeatedly to both Cell and Home Phone from "The Vehicle Processing Center"  requesting specific information regarding vehicles I own for the purpose of Extending Warranty.  I am certain this is a scam as internet sesarching for "The Vehicle Processing Center" found many complaints.  Each time, I let them know, in no uncertain terms, that I am uninterested and to not call again, yet calls persist.  Usually the operator becomes beligerent before I hang up.

The calls come from various 501 area code numbers yet a call back sends you to an unattended number obviously in  CA as it says to call back during business hrs. office open from 7 - 4 Pacific time.

I am on every Do Not Call list I am aware of.

A. post the number.

B. "Vehicle Processing Center" is an old scam that's been around for years.   They're  basically crooks who aren't going to stop calling even if you ask to be taken off their list.  

C. If the phone rings and it's their number, don't answer the phone.   If you can, block their number(s).

Yes, please post the numbers and block them if they keep bothering you (or simply set a silent ringtone as a stop-gap). I assume most phone companies let you block numbers (mine lets you block 10). You can also buy a call blocker, i.e. Digitone.

Good luck! I blocked these pests' phone numbers and...knock on wood...I think they got the message.

These losers were also using the # 915 321-3942.  Reported on this website earlier.

They keep calling. MTE message says they are from Card Holder Services.
And there is no problem with your account. We can get your interest lowered.
So I hold on someone answers and ask, "How can we help you today?" And I keep saying, "I don't have any damn credit cards. Take me off your list." And then they hang up. But they still call.

DON'T pick up for one-doing so marks your number as LIVE and you'll get more calls. Two-these are scammers-they're not going to abide by the Do Not Call list. IGNORE THE CALLS! (written in caps since that's all some people understand)

I have a bad new., if you report this company is impossible that someone do it something ., cause this call are from other country but when they transfer you with a supervisor who really is a closer in California . . this legal in USA?

Sally, I don't even understand your question-that looks like something that came out of a translator to be honest.

Is it legal??
1. Not if It is a robocall
2. Not if you are on the do not call list
3. Not if you asked them to stop calling
4. Not if they are spoofing (faking) the number
