Fake payday loan collection scams - Please list new numbers here.

these people have been harrassing me off and on since july 2009. every phone call is exactly the same. they are disgusting creatures and something must be done about this immediately.

OMG! $8958.00? That's a little exorbitant! " Money laundering" must be the new thing they're trying. How kind of them to offer to settle for $745.57! Frigging jerks!

I got a call from (760) 875-4212 and (254) 415-4499 and they all leave the exact same message with their thick Indian accent. They keep threatening to call my boss and garnish my wages. They won't give me the amount of the loan, the name of the company and they use American names like Jack Thompson or Stephen Taylor. They get verbally abusive and threatening. I use to call them back but now if I answer the phone I tell them they have the wrong number.

They are calling me as well and the weird thing about this is that they are calling me and using my own cell phone number... as if i am calling myself.. Making threats and saying very ugly things on the phone. I have reported it to the FTC.

This is so crazy!  I get a call 30 min ago from 510-567-4446 and I a man named Dominic with a heavy indian accent.  He tells me there are criminal charges being brought against me for failure to pay a payday loan back.  I went through the motions with this guy, after telling him that I don't have an unpaid loan out at all, he tells me that I will be prosecuted for stealing this money!  He called me back after being disconnected and even raised his voice when I questioned if he was legit or not! Who does that?!?!  So I start investigating (obviously) and look at this SCAM!  They told me I had to pay 786.37 within the hour or I would be in court because of this unpaid loan.  I have never heard of such a thing.  So I'm putting the info I got from him on here so hopefully no one falls for this! Marshall and Associates  the payment was to be to the attn of Jullian Marshall.  Fax number 206-337-9460.  He told me to write a letter and fax it stating my name , last 4 digits of my social security number,my credit card number, security code, expiration date, todays date and state that this is MY debt and I give thm permission to extract this money from my account.  REALLY?  I think not.  I am going to report them because there are people that WILL fall for this and that is really f***ed up!

Just rec'd 2 calls from this caller @ 8:30am.  Here is the number that came on my caller i.d. 21340593247 and he (Kevin Baker) left this number on my voicemail 347-927-1843.  I have been receiving calls from this same caller but different name since the beginning of 2010.  I have reported several numbers to the attorney general office in California as well.  I be so glad when this butt hole is caught because he will be in a world of trouble!!!

I received a phone call from these people today at a number that isn't even associated with me. They first asked for my boyfriends uncle then when told he wasn't available they told his grandma they were looking for me. I returned their call and they exclaimed that I had taken out a Payday Loan and didn't pay it off. I immediately told them that Bull**it and that I had never taken out a Payday Loan that I haven't paid back. They then became rude saying yes I did in effort to defraudgalize a bank for money. They have all outdated information and my Bestfriend and Boyfriends names and phone numbers. None of that really worries me except the man told me my social. Now I am scared. This sounded fraudulant to me and now I don't know what to do.This all sounds really crazy.OMG

And - 206-577-9920 seems (or did) belong to a payphone at a Chinese Restaurant...

Although on caller ID it comes up as unknown with calling # 052695757  (I don't know if this means anything but country code 052 is Barbados...)

Anyway, this time it's Steven Johnson, in a really weird accent, trying either to sound vaguely Australian or desperately trying to hide accent -shouts into the phone, threats, lies, he's taking me to the courthouse TODAY!

I'm sick of this crap.  If this goes on for a few more months I'm changing all my phone numbers.
