- smee1Keep getting calls from this scam artist called credit card services using legitimate phone numbers according to stupid Intellus--I called the police dept from the town where Intellus said call originated from The state number was correct but the area number was not so now Intellus is in bed with this credit card scam artist?? You can not find out where these calls come from. As soon as you ask who do they want to speak to after they announce the $3000 balance question--"customer service not available" then hangs up. Isn't the FTC doing a marvelous job not?
- Biker 1Just got another call from Rachel! Been going on for months! Guess the FTC better get a move on - "she's" still callin'.
A real pain in the u know what! - Irishgal replies to john| 1 replyI agree with you. I continue to recieve these calls at least once a day. Rachel and Ann have called as well as plain old "card services" in the caller ID, so nothing has been done to stop these companies, maybe some who had fell for the scam may get some money back, but that is as far as it seems to have gone. Why cant they just get them to comply with the DNC registry, then most of us would no longer receive these calls. The new numbers that are calling are: 506-227-4565,701-671-9447, and 415-825-6626, if anyone cares to pre-block, they have called me as early as this week.
Arrrgh!!!!!! - dhincalifornia replies to sdflatlander2I really like all your ideas...too bad you're not in charge of taking care of these kinds of entities
- LZWI hope Rachel really stops calling for the last time. I can't tell you the number of times answering these calls has almost led to an injury because the person in my house rushed to answer the call. We are really tired of the evening calls and the hangups.
- grandpamy phone is on the do not call list. i report it everytime they call. i don't know why the feds are not doing their job. they are supposed to be fined $!,000 for ever call reported. they call 4 to 6 times a week.
- cellphone useri just got another call from them on my cell (same number: 253-236-2156). so they clearly feel comfortable ignoring the FTC. can anyone give me the url of the page for reporting them to the ftc. thanks
- WDGApparently, they are unimpressed with whatever action the FTC is taking, as I just received yet another call from them, from 347-896-6046.
- Scum RemoverThese POS don't need to be hung up on, just hung up and left for the buzzards.
- Tracking SchemersThere is a posting on 7 Nov 2012 seen on Page 2 that lists the URLs of the FCC and other sites that give an accounting of the what is really happening with these robocalls and scams.

It's not just the scamming telemarketers, it's the people who profit from the display of spoofed numbers in the Caller ID every single time a call is made. There is more than one entity making money off of these calls.
To fight back, we have to report to the FCC and to our state's Attorney General's office in order to provide them with ammunition to go after these fraudsters. - ApachewolfThere is only ONE way to stop these. Make spoofed calls illegal and than send the principals to jail. Simple as that. Otherwise they will just keep calling. I had one guy call me from Tucson number and told him off. That resulted in 3 calls from him from the same number, and that 5 call more from a Phoenix number. All the calls were of course terminated by pressing my "do-not-call button.
Catch them, store them and when the sun shines again take them to the desert, cover them with honey and let the ant eat them. - JeffJust got a call from 253-236-2156 on my cell. Other than the area code it is eerily similar to my cell phone number (only 2 adjacent numbers need to switch places) so I figured it was a trick. However, they left a message about reducing credit card rates. A Google search led me to this site and a few others where this number has been used alot. I filed a complaint with FTC. Thanks for providing the URL.
- BubbaWell guess what, It did not work. Today is November 12, 2012. I have received 3 calls from these a$$ holes. I am sick and tired of this. How can we fight this? I pressed 1 and told them to take me off there list as I am on the do not call list. They said I had to talk to the supervisor then put me on hold for several minutes and never came back. I am furious. I have gotten calls from this number several times a week for 2 years.
