- FGSTOP CALLS
- HardcastleWhy would they call? No number, no message. They maybe thieves calling to see if your home! I got three calls from them. I am trying to block 000-000-0000 to see if it works. Everyone else try it to. Maybe this will work for the hundreds of people using 000-000-0000.
- PamI just got a call from that number. The guy listed a bunch of credit card names and asked me which one I carry? When I asked why he needed to know, he said I was entered into a $1 million contest. I told him he doesn't need that information to enter a contest. He actually said "we do". I told him to lose my number. Idiot said "sorry I don't understand". I told him to delete my number and never call me again. What a stupid scammer!

- MidtownAm in Toronto. Have received several calls from this number over the last few days. Today, decided to pick it up to see what scam it was. East Indian boiler room, claiming to offer a Bell Canada phone and internet package. He then asked if I was a Bell Customer. I said 'If you're calling from Bell, should you not already have that info?" He then wanted to know who I dealt with, and I told him that's my business and not his - he hung up. FYI, I did get a legit call from Bell a couple of weeks ago, and they agreed to put me on their DNC list, though it could take up to a month.
- Caller: SCAM - Bell Canada
- vada eldersthey call but they donot talk
- useless replies to fed upWhat do you mean by "follow through"? I have given all of the information required by some spam callers to the do not call website (I've been on that list for years), and there has been absolutely no follow up from them. None!

- cmb74| 2 repliesI get occasional calls from this number on my cell phone - a number that only family and close friends have, so I have no idea how they got it.
Usually, I let it ring and as soon as my voicemail comes on, they end the call. The one time I actually answered, I got a moment of silence, then a computer voice says something about being disconnected from a conference call.
Needless to say, this is really confusing, since I'm not participating in any conference calls, and if I was, I wouldn't be using my cell phone!- Caller: Unknown
- cmb74 replies to FedupYou may be able to go into the settings on your tv or cable/satellite box and change the settings so it doesn't pop up. :)
- CC replies to ChristalI have been on the Do Not Call List for almost a year and I still get these kind of calls.

- Fed UPJust got a call from this number and said my computer was hacked into and he would fix it. LOL I kept them on the phone for a while playing dumb. They were getting so frustrated, they had 3 different guys on the phone. I was laughing so hard, I ask if I could record them for a TV special I was doing on fraud. He said if he could find a decent job he would. I told him I'm sure McDonalds was hiring. He hung up. Oh what fun that was....
- I LIST JERKO CALLSThese JERKS have been calling me since 2011. I just unplug the business answering machine when I see the number or others that are not in my business area.
- zelda glutz replies to ChristalYou're dreaming. The do not call list is just another example of "We're the government, and we're here to help you". Totally worthless.
- Hatemesometelemarketers replies to cmb74| 1 replyYour number is not private. It is just a random set of 10 numbers. Any autodialer or phone list can generate it.
- winterThey straight up just called (they HAVE been calling, but this time they actually spoke) claiming to be from the US Treasury Dpt.
I said "you sure do have quite the accent for working there... could you pronounce my VERY EASILY pronounced last name again?"
how hard is it to say Law Less... Lawless. really? - HenryFort replies to rbrockHa-ha. Now you know the downside of a full-time cell phone with or without texting. Yes I have a cell phone but texting is blocked. It is only on when I am out.

If you are absolutely, positively scared of missing a call or text, then you are addicted! Get help!
These are not calls from your carrier...unless you use some schlock carrier who probably supports telemarketers. Any big carrier, Verizon, AT&T, etc, is making truck loads of money from cell phone addicts.
Or.....live with the scammers calling your precious cell phone.
