- KCgirl replies to EndTimes HeroinThey keep calling my cell phone. Speak half english and half some foreign language. When they call the connection is not that great and they have been alternating between the 000-000-0000 number and unknown number. I have asked them to quit calling numerous times. The last time they just called the man asked for someone with a foreign sounding name that I couldn't pronounce or even begin to try to spell. Then he proceeded to talk in some other language until I hung up. One of the times they called he said he was with an insurance agency..again very bad connection (prob. not a call coming from the US) , he asked for my name and I told him flat out I wasn't falling for his scam and hung up. They have called since 10 am and it is now 3pm. Hopefully, the last call was the end of it. Beware of this idiots.
- Kelsey22 replies to Brent PittsI got the same kinda call from this number....about a loan. The fact that the connection was bad and that the guy was obviously not from here was enough for me to tell him off and hang up.
- VashtiI agree with a previous poster that this is someone's way of making money. I NEVER answer these type of calls, but they hang on just long enough to get through to my voice mail then fill it with dead air, and that qualifies them to get paid for a "live phone call". These people are criminals, but no one seems to be able or willing to stop them. Very aggravating, to say the least.

- Alberto BassiI have got several times already a phone call from 000-000-0000, once I pick up, nothing and no one is there. It is so annoying.

- SydnieThis number called my phone and left a voicemail. The voicemail was 19 seconds long. Every 2-3 seconds I would hear a beep..
- John-of-Lower-MerionLive SCAM call from (000) 000-0000 recorded 13 September 2013 ("John from Computer Maintenance and Difficulty Department...") SCAM
Caller ID: "Not Available"
My father-in-law received a call from these people recently. The guy opens "Hello, this is John from Computer Maintenance and Difficulty Department" and the explanation that they had reports from my computer indicating that it was infected with virus or malware. He asked me if I was aware of this and I said no, but my computer has been acting strange over the past few days.
I played with him for a few minutes, he asked me if I was sitting at my computer and I said no but I would. He got tired of waiting and asked again and I said yes, I'm in front of the computer. He asked me if the computer was on, and I said "No!" so he gave me instructions to turn it on. When he was satisfied it was on, he said he was putting me through to a technician to help me.
When the technicial came on, the fun began.
He asked me to go to my homepage. I told him I didn't have a home page. "What?" he asked. I said "I don't have a home page, I took it down years ago" and he told me to just visit a page on the Internet. I told him "What page? There are many pages on the Internet" and he started giving me instructions to clear the browser address line and start to type "double-u double-u double-u dot..." and I quickly repeated "double-u double-u double-u dee oh tee..." and he corrected me "No, www dot, like a point..."
I asked him where he was calling from and he said Pennsylvania. I asked where in Pennsylvania and he wanted to go back to giving instructions. He finally said CORRY Pennsylvania" and I asked him what was the weather in Corry Pennsylvania, giving him a hard time, but he didn't understand why I wanted to know the weather. "We're not the weather department, talking about that is just a waste of time..." he said.
I asked him what time it is in CORRY Pennsylvania and he evaded me. After objections, he finally told me it was 5:00 (it was 2 minutes after 5:00 but I didn't split hairs) then he started telling me the weather, "scattered clouds, getting warmer, 25° (ha, he gave me the temperature in degrees Centigrade, the correct temperature by the way, but not in Fahrenheit). Then he said that I wa suspicious but I could have his number. He gave me a Maryland phone number (240) 345-9939 (I called that number a little while later using Google Voice, it rang many times but nobody answered).
He finally terminated the call after 15 minutes when I gave him a hard time about the Internet addres www dot.

- RobinGot a call today and all zero s showed up so I answered it and the man said if I was Mr. So and so. I said yes and he proceeded to demand one Billion dollars or he would hack my computer and steal all of my information. I told him to. Go right ahead and he kept saying you have 1 hour and I said I don't need an hour go ahead and hack. But he insisted to demand one billion doors and I have 1 hour so I then hung up. Unbelievable!
- BobInDenver replies to ChristalYou are joking right? The Do Not Call list is a joke. It's not enforced and seems quite likely that the spammers and telemarketers actually might be using it as a DO CALL list. LOL
- BobInDenver replies to mare| 1 replyYes. Look up Digitone 10 Call Blocker. I bought one about 1.5 years ago and it's hands down the best money I have ever spent. I do not work for them or have an interest in the company - just a satisfied customer.
- stellaI have been getting calls from the same number also. They keep telling me that I've been granted some government money. I tell them that I'm not interested to stop calling. This all started when some school couldn't get me to enroll. From there I started getting calls from the "government" and other people. I don't have all the numbers saved, but, if you get any calls from; 000-000-0000, 202-621-0436, & 202-666-2441. Its the same people calling. The last time I answered the guy was, in other words, trying to keep me on the line. He even said "I love you". I don't understand how the schools and these people got my number in the first place when I'm very private about things like my number. And also my phone is prepaid. I'm going to have to change my number because they call at all hrs. Its very frustrating.

They are a SCAM and have been reported by the BBB as a fraud. Stated that I needed to contact them within 4 hrs. or I would have a restraiining order something of that nonsense. These people are starting to use other numbers to scam! They're using 000-000-0000. They use to call "uknown"...

- Gertrude MarksI'm recieving calls from 0000000000 at least once a day.
- Caller: I don't know
- KP replies to ChristalYou may still get calls even if you are on the Do Not Call register. Political polling calls are not covered under Do Not Call, so telemarketers and spammers can get around the restrictions by asking you a political question. It will cut down on the number of calls you receive, even if it doesn't completely prevent them.
- angel u.v.I don't have idea. Who is calling.
