I just a call from 000-000-1111, but I ignored the call. Thanksgiving Day at 3:58 pm.

Computer call; "Sorry wrong number". They don't have the guts to listen to this old lady CUSS!

this number called it back and it said, "this is the wymax comunications test number, your call was successful."

Just got a call did not answer, when the person is found we should file a class action lawsuit for harrasment in the millions.

Yes, the number I received the mystery call on is also my business number.

Just got the call as well. 8:09pm CST, 1-000-000-1111, recorded voice saying "Sorry, wrong number."

Someone's paying for this to be done. Other than determining there's a warm body at the end of the line (which could be the point, to then sell a "live" number to telemarketers), what purpose could this have?

I cannot believe there is nothing better for you to do with your time.

If you are looking for ROI, I (emphasis) could probably find several projects with higher potential.

Caller ID was 1-000-000-1111 and recording was "Sorry wrong number", as previously reported.

I got a phone call at 10:49 am Central time.
I have never seen this strange number 000-000-1111. I checked scam infor on line, and found many other people received calls from this phone number.
We definitely should find out where it is from.

Sam as everyone, except that the first time that I called back, it was busy and the second time I called back, it routed me to a Verizon Operator.

Second time around I answered to tell them to stop calling "wrong number", I said good don't ever  call me again.  Now I wonder if that's a way to get into our phones / phone datatbase?  Not being very technical myself, I am not sure  that's possible.  What are they after, and how the heck does anyone obtain a phone like that?

There better not be a charge on my cell phone for this, or T-Mobile can do the research and block the number!  My phone number will, from now on, be non-published.  Creeps me out too.

Me,too. They called at 12:30 Sunday afternoon.I didn't answer. Now I wonder, recently my daughter has had trouble with an old yahoo e-mail account that she hasn't  used in years and that she shut down. Someone took it over -a ghost user- and has been spamming everyone on her old e-mail list, yahoo has told her there is nothing they can do. I opened one of her spams to me, wonder if that has anything to do with this phone call?

Got the same call at 11am on Sunday. Sprint Blackberry, same number and same message.
