7:51pm same call, silence, then the recorded wrong number in a woman's voice.
Can anyone look into this, has anyone reported it to the phone co. or the police.
they have been calling for 3 days now. I don't like it, it gives the the creeps.

Some weirdo called and said "Wrong Number".

Same for me at 7:48 this morning - just a computer voice saying "sorry, wrong number." I'm going to report it to my phone company. Maybe they know something about it.

Same thing here! Just got the call at about 8:30 a.m. EST, on our landline. When i saw the caller ID, i didn't answer, and actually the caller hung up before our answering machine came on.

Same as everyone else here.  Phone rang, caller ID says "Name Not Found" and 000-000-1111, answer, digital computerized voice says "Sorry, wrong number."  I hung up, of course.  9:27 AM EST on 9/27/2010.  First time.  Hope it doesn't happen again.

I just got the same call. It came up 1111 on my phone, so I expected it to be bogus... then all I got was the "sorry wrong number" recording.

Just got it as well with the "sorry wrong number" message. I will check my bill as suggested, and thanks for the Skype info.

Was awakened at 7:30am Central Standard Time by a call from this number.  I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.

Just got the call myself...Automated voice message "sorry wrong #"...There is something wrong with this picture...

Call from 1-000-000-1111 to my cell phone.  I did not answer.  No msg left on voicemail.

Got the same call this morning.  Will be reporting it to my phone company.

Got the "Sorry, wrong number" when I answered the phone call from this number at 12:46pm today.  I use AT&T LAN line.  Called AT&T before seeing this site.  They said there was nothing that could be done usually scams require you to press a button on your phone, and they do not track incoming calls only out-going, long distance calls.  So, they were unable to help and gave no further advice.

I just got the call and all it said was "Sorry wrong number" gave me the creeps.

Just got this call too. Caller ID said 1-000-000-1111 and when I answered it was a recorded woman's voice saying sorry wrong number......it was very strange.

Exactly the same thing...phone rings at 7:55 am - id says 1-000-000-1111  pick it up say, Hello, recording says, "Sorry, wrong number."

All 1s and 0s....It's probably not Lawnmower Man, so who does that leave?

I got this call with the electronic voice saying "Wrong number." Do any of you call Iraq? That's all I could think of that I have done recently that might have trigered this.
