I have T-Mobile.  Just got the call.  I would imagine it is a computer harvesting numbers to sell, if they call at various times, they are trying to determine when you answer the phone, so the telemarketer will call you at that time.  They may call morning, afternoon, and evening, to get an idea of your schedule.  Why it isn't illegal for a computer to call beats me.  

Since they seem to be calling cell phones, they may be dialing a block of numbers they know are cell phone numbers trying to see which ones are active to send you spam text messages.

We received a call from this number at 5:04 PM (Eastern) but did not answer. We've been plagued for more than a decade with hang-up and other weird calls. For years the Caller ID just said "Out of Area" with no telephone number; then a few years ago we discovered that a government contractor in our local area has its phones set up to register "Out of Area" on all its outgoing calls, so we have since assumed all those calls were from someone in the government just to harass us. Now we get calls from weird numbers such as this and usually do not answer. If the call is important, they can leave a message.

I just got the same call on my Verizon Wireless phone. If it was a Skype call, it would show as Skype on my cell phone. I have the Skype app. I think someone's phishing for info.

Got this too...same thing.  Probably some type of scam going on.

Just got this on our business line..when I answered it was a recorded woman's voice saying sorry wrong number just like the rest.

Why would it be answered by a computer (often enough to make it worth their while to look for bot computers)? People don't use dialup modems anymore, and even when they did, computers weren't likely to pick up.

Electronic voice says "Sorry, wrong number." Don't like it....!

Called my house at 7:30 a.m. on a SUNDAY! Answered on the 3rd ring - nobody there. They hung up after a couple of seconds.  Can't we outlaw this stuff? I'm on all the no-call lists, but they really don't seem to deter these calls.

Just received a call from the same number....I received one yesterday on my Tracfone.... What the hell is this and who are they ?   Aren't there enough scammers and tele-marketers out there already ?  I agree that someone is phishing for info.

I got a call from the same number but did not answer.  Area code 000?!  These are usually sex hotlines calling.  They use auto-dialers calling 10 numbers at once, expecting only a few will be answered.  If someone answers from the 10 the auto-dialer routes the call to a person and hangs up on the other 9 calls.  The "sorry, wrong number" is a new tactic.  My carrier, Verizon, allows 5 programmed blocked numbers.  So I added the several 000 area code numbers I found people complaining about online.

Got a call from 0000001111 just said wrong number as you mention.  I suspect my number will now go on a list of "valid" numbers for future telemarketing efforts.

I tried tracking it and i got nothing.

So on one link it shows the Roland's International Co with the 000-000-1111 phone number, on the other link it gives an Illinois number.  Both give the same IL address...yet....the map to this company is in Brazil??  Yeah I also got a call today at 12:32pm but it only rang about 3 or 4 rings and I did not answer it in time so I didn't get to hear the wrong number message.  
I believe this is a phising expedition to get a list set up of live numbers.  I'm not sure if there is a real connection to Roland's but it sure makes me question why would it have that 000 number listed. It's just all real 'fishy'.  Best suggestion I can give would be to not answer the calls should they call again.
