Once I reported a cad accident on NYC Henry Hudson parkway to 911.  One hour later, someone from the New York City Police Department called me from this number asking me if i have called the police, reporting the accident AND if I was involved in it.  Caller fairly knew about details of my call to 911.  It is bizarre.!   After I told the woman that i worked for a major news outlet, she hung up.

The number called on my phone just after 15:30 this afternoon and my caller I.D. showed 'Overseas'. I didn't bother picking it up because of the strange simplicity of the number. I'm assuming that is a scammer trying to gain access to my financials or my PC. Don't pick up the phone, let it ring out, write down the number and tell your relatives and friends about it.

today 1234567890 called me saying that they were from microsoft IT. I had trouble understanding them as they had a heavy indian or pakistani accent?  they were polite enough   from what I could understand the caller was trying to say I had a virus in my computer b/c it was emailing microsoft to inform them of the problem.  When i asked he said not a virus but "an infection"?  He told me all the things that it can do to my computer if it isn't fixed.  I told him I did not know who he was and how he got my phone number.  He said I registered with Microsoft when I purchased the computer and he read my name and address correctly. I asked if he could tell me what to do and I would write it down and do it later.  He couldn't do that saying he had to walk me through it. I asked to speak to a supervisor which he gladly did and the supervisor repeated the stuff he already said.  I asked for his phone number to call him back b/c I was not comfortable going to my computer and following the instructions of someone i did not know. He said i couldn't call them.  I asked them to email me so I can varify who they were then suddenly the accents dwindled and the volume of their voices lowered and the said, "who do you think you are?  Hang up you BXXXX!"  I then called mirosoft support who informs me they do not make such calls every.  that's the story.

I just received the same call.

I started to get calls from this number, and every time I'd pick up, no one would answer. So I tried redialing them, and the automated voice message said that this number was invalid.

Just had a call - Unavailable Name - I didn't answer, no message left

I got a call from 234567890 at 2:18pm today from this number, I didn't pay tension to the numbet, I said hello 2 times, and was going to hang up and before I did, it was a recorded voice of "your gonna die" scared the [***] out of
Me and hung up. Then I looked back at my çalller Id and said wtf!! Why is this person bothering me or ever calling me..??

You have to call your phone company and report it and tell them they are Scamming Telemarketing companies calling every hour or 30 mins as they have been doing to me and get the "Caller Block" added to your phone service if not already.  Also, I have Verizon FiOS and they just blocked this phone number for me.

I just got a call from these same people not more than 15 minutes ago! Told me she/he could fix my pc right before my very eyes! I just hope other people don't fall for this scam and end up getting ripped off, 123-456-7890 is apparently a well-known number these folks use so that they cannot be traced.

We have received at least 24 calls from this number in the last week at all times of day and into late evening.  After the first call and not being able to understand what the person was saying we have not answered again.

I just received a call from this number.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message....of course.  I can't believe the number of these types of calls we have been getting lately.  The numbers are from all over the place.  We just don't answer anything unless we know the caller.

I guess not picking up doesn't work either, just got another call within 15 minutes from the first call.

This # has called several times saying my computer is causing pbs. They wanted more info from me which I would not give. I have told them not to call and that I woould report them to the attorney journal if they persisted

In past three days, I have received calls from 123-456-7890. They did not leave any messages. I answered today and it was some man with a very heavy accent saying he was from Windows Service Center. In the middle of his sentence, the line went dead. Caller ID shows it as Unknown Name.

This number calls several times a week. I've answered it and they want to "fix my computer". I've told them not to call again, but they keep trying. Often, there is no one on the line if we do pickup. Definitely phishing for access to personal information on your computer.

This has got to be a ScamScum using caller ID spoofing.
