The phone rang 3 times I answered and noone replied...I hung up and immediately checked the star 69 got the number 201-945-2119 googled and found I was not alone..what the heck is going on...

Called my home in Canada on Sunday afternoon. I answered on the second ring but there was silence followed by a hang-up click. Very annoying.

Phone rang 3 times.  No response when I answered.  No background noise or anything else.  Must be a computer dialer.

got a call person wanted to send free information i said was not interested she offered to put me on there do not call list they were pretty nice

Called, I didn't pick up, left no message, caller ID showed ENVIRMT SFTY IN.

Called at 11:45 pm est.  I said "hello" and the line was dropped.

called @ 7:02 pm, i repeatedly answered "hello" , then after 30 seconds, the line clicked and went dead. This number has called five times in one day before, VERY IRRITATED at these morons. Glad to know others are having the same issue.

Watch out!  Answering your phone on calls like these can be costly.  I heard a woman answered her phone and was charged $99.00 a minute.  Someone taps into the phone and when you answer the phone call is charged to your # and they can talk to someone else.

Just googled Gladstone Investment Corp. in Clearwater FL. and the info said that this company was "engaging in several fraudulent loan schemes".  Check it out on google.com.

A robocall with fake Caller ID. Called but did not leave a message.

Same as above. I do not answer to numbers I do not recognize. Search the number, got to this page. It happened before with other numbers. Creepy phone calls...So obnoxious!

Received call this morning on home phone from called ID:  ENVIRMT SFTY IN - same thing as all of you above.  So glad I looked this up to know that it is nothing.  Thanks for this reporting site.

Received call from 201-945-2119 today.  Glad I didn't answer.  Has anyone tracked down the people behind the number?

Called this morning at 8:30am. Hung up when I answered. I hate these auto dialer calls. Wish I could get ahold of person dialing my number!

Received a call from them at 8:30 pm cst, with silence.  I have little patience, so I hung up after about five seconds.

What can one do to exact revenge on these types of calls, if one can't legally pursue it practically?

Got the same call form an automated system trying to sell some garbage septic product.  Left a message and they called back from 1-800-736-7337.
