I got a call from these guys.  I am on the no call list.  I was able to reach a recording for them at 1-888-577-0074.  Sure would be nice to have a buch of people return the favor

25 July 2009 - I received two identical calls in less than 2 hours. I have received approximately 20 calls in six months from those selling product named Activator-1000.  I am registered on the no-call list.  Advertiser mentions the USDA several times during the call, making it sound as if product is promoted and endorsed by the USDA. I would like calls from this manufacturer to stop!

Is this the same Joe Banks that lived in San Antonio.

On the no call list but computer called anyway. We need to stop this illegal, invasive activity.

unsolicited call to number on DNC list

Dialer call with caller i.d.-unknown name/unknown number "Activator 1000" sales pitch @ approx. 4:00 P.M. H.S.T., 08/18/09.  This was a generic pitch with "Activator 1000" obviously ineserted clumsily and out of sync.
I said yes to free info and gave my name hoping to talk to someone or waiting for the never happening opt out option now required by law beginning last Dec.1 by the FTC. (AARP Bulletin July-August 2009 Vol.50 No.6 pg.22.)
When someone calls back, I will grill them for their name and other info. Then I will call 1-877-382-4357, or go to www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov and see what happens.
All of you readers must become proactive and complain everytime.  They are subject to fines, so make them pay for disturbing you.

Called at 4:20 A.M., scared the cr p out of me.  I thought one of my kids were in trouble.  How dare you call in the middle of the night!!!!  I have problems sleeping the way it is, and then I get a call from Activator 1000!

called from 1-201-945-2119 says activator 1000 found this page and called 1-800-736-7337 they say they dont call my state they call at 8 a.m which is illegal in my state.they said the call was from PRO activator 1000 out of california.but the # is n.j. have got calls from env sfty also think its all the same most of the time they hang up when i answer.very very annoying those @#$&* need to $%^ off.anyway call your local law enforcment they can direct you where to call to file a complaint about out of hours or inability to get off the call list.also when i called several times the same guy answered so probly not telemarketers

have been using this product for about ten years i would call the product a miracle worker my septic has had so many problems before using activator when i first ordered it i had a back up ordor and slow drains they allowed me to use it until my problems cleared up free of charge before when the problems cleared i paid for it and have been using it since and also reffered several of family and friends that are also pleased. also when i called there toll free number to inform cust service i had lost my bucket once it was recieved they sent me a free one even though it was my mistake so before u let other blogs avoid u from trying a great product hopefully u will read this one as well this product is awesome

Also you guys are complaining about a phone call? And you want to go to law enforcement? Are you crazy? Hang up the phone and go on with your life?

We received 3 calls wanting my Mom, Mary Williams, to purchase another bucket of Activator 2000 from EPI Inc.  I could see Mom was trying very hard to nicely convey to the caller she was not interested.  The caller obviously was hearing me tell Mom she did not need such a product.  When Mom finally hung up, because she could never finish a sentence, the man called right back and I answered.  He immediatelly started with the accusations of my rudeness and my yelling.  I was not rude, was not yelling and wasn't accusing him of anything; I was only trying to tell him Mom was not interested and please take her off his calling lists which he flatly refused.  I could not believe he called a third time with his ranting and accusations.  I have received lots of unwanted calls, but nothing like this company.  Mom had purchased from this company before and still had her invoice, so I called the 800-736-7337 on the invoice and spoke with a Joe Reed who assured me he nor anyone in his office made the  call.   Even if I wanted to purchase the product, I would never buy from EPI, Inc.  I will not be bullied.

don't buy it, it's a rip off. Buy rid-x instead. The phone salesmen must be under high pressure to make sales because they are awful and %&)@? holes.

EPI is a bunch of crooks. Told thier sales rep when he made an unsolicited call to my house that I did not want any Activator 2000 but he sent it anyway. I sent it back and they told me I could not return it. They keep wanting me to pay for something I did not order!!

activator 1000 is worth spending money on!!! I was so amazed by this product,it was cheap and works...the people there were very understanding of my money problems,and i've had no problems what so ever

Deff not a scam....not like all those other sales people who call...they said i had 30 days with the product free,if i didn't like send it back....i was having problems with odors coming out of my drain and with in 3 weeks,the smell went away!!!

My shower was clogged due to my hair and this product un clogged it....it's so wonderful..i had my daughter, friends, sister all buy it, and they are so much happier with activator 1000..
