- Sarge501Both my wife and i have received these calls. I received one this morning 07/16/15. I told the person (who had thick accent) to transfer me to someone in america. The response from the caller was "are you in america".
I understand that there is suppose to be a law that they have to transfer you to someone in america. I'm just gonna stop answearing these calls. - Chris WebbCall me moments ago, stated they were the US government in Washington. Could barely speak English.
- LukiI got a similar call from a different number (Connecticut) claiming the same thing. Caller had strong middle east or Indian accent. Just hang up. They supposedly have a US Govt check $9000 grant that you have to pay Western Union to have it delivered. Logic: US Govt can send check in mail and they do not go out of they way to give money away.
- Miesha56I just got a call from that number. Some easthings Indian fertile claiming he was from the U.S. Treasury. When I told him I lived in Canada he asked who told me to go to Canada. Idiot, I wad born here. I kept asking what he wanted then I just hung up on him.
- C replies to BILLThis call was from Egypt - telling me the government owes me money, for one, I am an American and the government doesn't give us money and for two why such a busy call center? Ripping off the world!

- Call type: Telemarketer
- RailerCalled three times. Third time was drunker. Sounded like a terrorist so I kept referring to him as Osama bin laden. Told me he has sex with my mother. I put him on speaker phone and had some fun at his expense at the office. I only wish I could call back and mess with home some more.
Filthy third world freaks.- Caller: 202 000 1111

- CarleanI received a call from this number today informing me that I had been chosen to receive a $9,000 grant from the US government. He said that I could use the money for bills, college, etc. but not for anything illegal like gambling. He then gave me the name and number (202-738-1532) of an "account manager" that I could call and give my ID number, which he supplied, and get my grant in cash. I didn't call the number because the whole conversation sounded fishy. The caller said his name was Marcus Lu and that his extension number was 550. I hope someone is able to track some of these scammers down.
- GregThey called me at 1:55 and said I had a government loan and then I said from who and the guy said "Cuban , I mean Americano Givernment "
- Caller: Government
- MaryUsed very vulgar language. Repeated vulgarities.
- SusieReceived multiple calls from this number stating they are from Federal Government and have a loan ($8-9000) that does not have to be paid back they just need to obtain my checking or savings account number. Foreign speaking, hard to understand, with background noise, but said his name was "David". Definitely a scam, and I decided to have a little fun at his expense....either way, scam.
- Caller: Federal Government
- Brandon Villacorta replies to Elena Perez| 3 repliesWat happen
- OhKay| 1 replyReceived a call from a similar number not long ago. It was the same person saying some scripted spiel about how my name and number were randomly selected by the US Treasury Department to give me a 'Loyalty Grant' of $9000 that I wouldn't have to pay back. Then they asked me for a bank account or credit card or prepaid card # so they could award me the money. IT IS A SCAM. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. IT IS NOT THE US TREASURY DEPARTMENT.
- Roscoe replies to Elena PerezI get the same call and tell them to go guck yourself.
