i get calls from this place three times a day for the last month. it rings twice and hangs up. never is there a message.

So I noticed everyone saying it's for either medical bills or WAMU.... Well, i didn't have either and this number keeps calling me at least twice a day. I know I have a late bill for Chase but that's it. I decided to check on google to see what all charge cards WAMU represents for instores. Apparently according to GOOGLE WAMU became part of chase. So.... that being said, if you have a chase card, this could also be where this number is calling from. I remember having opened a card through Petsmart to raise money for animals and not long after it converted to chase which is why I didn't remember having WAMU. WATCH OUT FOR THIS..... Below is the link for when it changed if anyeone is wondering. I still dont' understand though why it's coming up as WAMU if they've already changed......

Got a call from this number.... No meassage left....   from what I read here, glad I didn't answer.

For the past several months I've been receiving calls from 202-367-9813. The company is IC System and they are a collection agency. They wouldn't tell me who the creditor was trying to resolve a debt, however, I told them until they supplied me with the name of the creditor, they should stop calling. Five minutes later they called again, this time stating that the debt was from an old dentist bill. I called the dentist office & explained  how I knew nothing of the balance that was due. Go figure, the bills kept getting returned to sender in the mail because my apartment number was missing. The balance was only $95 & I was offered a prompt pay discount of 20% off the balance if I resolve the account within 10 business days, I was also able to request the agreement in writing. If you are receiving calls from this number, insist on finding out who the creditor is & try to deal with them (the creditor)directly as I did. It's worth a shot, I just couldn't understand why a collection agency in the business of resolving debts wouldn't provide any information about the creditor, but yet expected to collect on the debt.  SOUNDS SHADY, even if it's a legitimate debt, I wouldn't feel comfortable giving these people any money, and if you decide to, get something in writing & send money orders...

We get at least TWO calls per day from this number and my husband has explained that we tried to work out the debt with the original creditor and they refused to accept the amount we said was the only amount we could pay each month to satisfy the debt, so they eventually charged off the debt and now these jerks are calling. They NEVER leave a message on the answering machine which is stupid because if they REALLY wanted to get hold of us they would and when they do we get a lot of threats of oh we're going to do this or do that.

Does anyone have an address for them? I want to send a cease and desist letter to them because their multiple, daily calls I feel is harassment.

Bill- Exactly! Even if you pay these people, the original debt will STILL be on your credit report for YEARS. So there's really no point in paying these people!

It is a collection agency. They call my Tracfone at least twicw a day and never leave a message. I simply ignore them. Not worth getting worked up about.

They called me and asked me my name and when i asked why they were calling they told me it was none of my busisness...so why are they calling and asking for me....reatards

I get multiple calls from this number too.  I don't know if I have any unpaid debts, but if I do, they should at least leave a message if they want the money bad enough.  They call as early as 9am and as late as 8:45pm, and 3-4 more times in between.  I always ignore the call, since they can't even bother to leave a message.

my calling id shows this number as a cellular call and they never leave a message. the first time I answered they asked for the wrong person and then told me to hold and transferred my call. I then told this very rude and unhelpful person they have the wrong number and to please stop calling. the calls have not stopped. the cellular network that this call comes from is sprint/nextel. I advice anyone dealing with this deception and harassment to contact sprint/nextel and turn up the heat on them.

202-3679068 and 703-656-9977 these are thenumbers for a person who does n live here, they call 3 times a day.

This number continues to call. Very aggravating. What can we do about this kind of harassment?

They have every right to call you if you owe them money.  You don't get to decide how much you are going to pay them.

If she owes them money, why shouldn't she pay them?

I've receive a call from this # at least 3 time, I have missed two calls from this number and my caller ID states it's from the District of Columbia, a message is never left and when I did answer the phone once a male said, yeah this number is.....and that was it, he hung up.
