My previous message collecting money was spelled incorrectly.

I keep getting calls from this company and they don't want to tell me what kind of company they are or who they are,but they want me to verify who I am my name ,ss# and address .do these people really think I'mgiving any of that to someone I don't know over  the phone .the man even went as far to ask me what do I have to hide and oh who are you hiding from . I told him you and hung up

Called didn't leave a message

This number called me this morning, when I called back it said something about IC Systems, so I just hung up.

This number calls repeatedly but there is never anyone on the line.  POS caller!!

Calls 3-4 times a day, NEVER leaves a message.  If I do answer, never anyone there.  Idiots!

Before stating someone so uneducated and moronic as your statement above, you should first try to find out what situation anyone may be before saying anything at all. Your mind is probably half developed any ways.

You certainly do get to decide how much, how often, and if ever, you are going to pay a creditor. Not sure what planet you are living on.

is there any reason why you are responding to a six year old thread?  Your response, is like the kettle calling the pot black.

A lady called from this number asking fro someone named Timothy.  No such person at my number. She did not leave a message.

We sent this company a letter requesting that they not call our number in regards to a medical debt that has been paid in full.

Collection agencies are scums of the earth. They buy your debts from the original debtor, for pennies on the dollar and try to force you to pay them for the full amount. Meanwhile, the original creditor has already had it written off as a loss on their books. Some people are truly down on their luck and have real financial problems due to the economy, not everyone is trying to scam businesses. But these collection people act like you owe them the money when really they are the snakes that are running the scam.

Which is why there are Federal and State collection laws, that give you rights and the right to sue.

You are wrong. They cannot refuse payment of any amount. You need to do more research.

i get repeat phone calls from Raise.com even after I tell them I don't want them to call me again.  After rejecting another round of calls, they keep calling over and over but I don't answer, then I get a call from 202-367-9813 which I also do not answer, and won't answer any calls from this area code.  I don't know for sure if the guys at Raise.com put these creeps onto me as retribution for refusing their phone calls but the timing was suspicious in my opinion.
