Got a call from this number and answered . A woman asked for David . I replied this is David , then she hung up .

i got call from 202-621-5429 asking me my name.. which i confirmed yes. and kept the phone. when i tried calling back  as he spoke my name. it was busy. when searched online for this number it a scam group

I have received calls from 202-621-5429 (11/7-8:55am and 12:22pm, 11/8-8:42am).  What I find funny when you ask where they got your number is that they get all indignant and huffy, like you're the person in the wrong and not them.  Same thing (if I actually answer it), I'm to receive free grant money from the government.  I argued with the guy one time about taking me off the calling list, but that may have been a different number than this one.

I hadn the same thing happen!  I finally told the woman I can not understand you at all - give me someone who knows how to speak english.  Then she hung up - but they continue to call is there anyway to be able to block these calls??????

I got the same call today, they wanted to talk only to my husband. I told them he died. That ended our scam conversation!!!

just received the call as well, with foriegh voice....the seven thousand dollars offer of free grant money....how these people get the numbers & your name ? the voice is a dead giveaway....I was born in the 1970's so the world defenitly not the same....we didn't have these kind of people to bother with....scammers indeed !

I've been receiving numerous calls from Tel# 202-621-5429,on my home phone the last few weeks.  When I ask who's calling, they simply hang up.  

I do know this is a scam operation, but again, unfortunately, I cannot identify the source company.

I have been receiving these calls over the last couple of days from 202-621-5429. They will not leave a message. I called from my landline and the phone continues to ring. At one point, I got a message saying it was a non working number. I am thinking of blocking this number from my phone.

I keep getting calls and they won't leave a message. This morning I answered and he says he is from the U.S. Government Claims. I got a number from him to call him back (202)697-9244(Jeremy House) was his name and when I called back within about 5 minutes he didn't know my name when I told him and he wanted my phone number. I told him he already had it and he said there must be some mistake and hung up on me.

I have been receiving calls from (202) 621-5429 for months now.  Every time I answer they just hang up.  I wish they would stop calling me.  I tried to call them back; I get a busy signal or a message stating "The party you trying to reach are not acepting calls.  I want them to take me off their calling list or I'm going to seek legal action.

I got that same call I told the to send me a check but she said the government  does not do that any more that that they want you bank numbers so you can get it in an 1hr I lol on the phone and hug up she called me back 6 times

Keep getting the same calls regarding 7000 grant money.  He gave me a code and another number I was suppose to call.  I hung up and never called the other number.  Certainly a scam.  The other calls from this Washington D.C. number have all had foreign accents.  Don't answer.

Received a call/ i answered, they did not reply. I hung up and 2 days later was charge $20 on my PayPal..Then they called again, I answered,,,,and an attempt to take out $299 on my PayPal was denied, because I changed my PayPal account,,, are these calls connected?

I got a call about a brant saying that I was chossen because I had no felonies and and a law abiding citizen. Some Latina woman called and gave a bogus number. ABSOLUTE SCAM

They told me I was approved for 2500.00. I never called back and plugged the number in my phone as DO NOT ANSWER.

Got same scam. Wish someone would stop them

A lady called me from this number this evening and told me that I am chosen for $7,000.00 reward from the US government for being good citizen with clean criminal records and for the survey I did long a go, surprisingly I am not US citizen, I live here with diplomatic visa. She requested me to verify my personal information. As I started telling her, I stopped and asked her to call her back. She was not willing to give me her phone, but asked me at what time I can be available to take her phone. She called me back, but I refused to pick up, the way she presented the case can witness that she is scam, she called me from public area, I could hear noisy background. This phone might be public phone on a wall in Washington DC, please do not give your information. Government knows what to do, these callers are ignorant people, they do not even know that we know more than them.

The above happened to me on 26 November 2013 evening.
