The above happened to me on 26 November 2013 evening.

I've been getting these calls for months today I finally answered and this Indian woman tells me that I was picked from survey I took online, she tells me im eligible for 7,000 that I never have to pay back cuz I pay my bills on time, she gave me a conformation number n a managers number & named of a carol morency I indulged her like I was going to call her manager, but eff that, my mom says if it sounds too good to be true then it is!!  so I came on here to check the number n found many of these comments, so thanks to everyone who cared to post there experience with this DC number, the only thing I found odd was she had my address!! another thing if there calls aren't recorded then u know its not our terrific Government (said sarcastically)

I got the same call , but they told me 8000 WOW people are crazy The  1st number was 63660 that showed on my ID ,Not even a phone number .They keep calling so i answered the phone. then they gave me this number to call 202-637-6899 . then called back and stated they had gave me the wrong number , they gave me 202-657-6899 . Now today they are calling  the number today is 202-621-5429. Its a SCAM !!!!!!!!!!

Called promising a grant, and to call (202)738-4185, which I also looked up on this service. They wanted $385 to "process the grant" .. why do you have to pay to receive money? This screamed "scam" to me

Called back ,busy signal

somebody call me saying I won 7,000 dollars from the Goverment

I have been getting a lot of these calls after posting a resume online...big mistake; however, with my Iphone I can block the number once they have called, and when I get someone on the line - I speak to them in Spanish

"Hola No habla English" and they hang up - fun to jerk them around - it's such a bunch of garbage they can call us at all

They called me twice the second time I answered and had all my personal information. I gave them a card that I don't use anymore just to see where this call would take me. The $7000 grant is free but it will cost me $320 to get it. Because they had my information I filed a police report and cancelled the card.  

I keep getting a call from DC saying that I have been chosen to receive a government grant because I pay taxes on time and don't have a criminal record. The guy I talked to had a foreign accent and was very hard to understand. He asked me if I wanted to receive "my money" by giving them my bank number, a master card number, or by cash. I told him cash. He then proceeded to tell me that my confirmation number is HS919 and the phone number to call is 2026575868 and the person I would talk to is Mike Parker. I looked up the number on here and saw that people were scamed out of at least $300. I didn't call the number the person gave me. Total SCAM!

I have been receiving calls for two days now from 202-621-5429 and I finally answered today to speak with a man with an accent. The man proceeded to tell me that I had been chosen for a $7000 government grant and gave me a bunch of crap on why I had been chosen for this grant. He than gave me a confirmation code and a different number 202-697-9244 to speak with a Eric Palmer. They asked if I would like the money transferred to my account or "cash". I said cash and they proceeded to tell me that I would have to go to a Western Union to receive the grant. I am suppose to call back in 10 minutes to speak with this Eric guy but obviously I did my research so screw that!

I have been receiving calls from this number, yesterday I happen to answer not looking at the number.. The guy with a accent asked for my son, he said he work for U.S. Government and that he wanted to give my son a $7000.00 grant.. Then I said my son was away at college.. Then he start saying very strange things, I want you, How old are you, whats your name.. So I came back and said you dont work for the U.S. Government cause you wouldnt talk to me that way... all the time I could hear people laughing in the back ground.... I told him to get a real life and STOP scamming people....

This number calls me multiple times a day and night! After reading these posts, I will definitely NOT be answering! Just wish they'd stop so I could get some sleep!

She called me as well and after trying to understand her foriegn accent, I told her to learn english and hung up

I got this call on cell . No message just missed call

Well, I'm upset!  They offered me $7000.  I want to know why they were willing to give you more!   Wonder where they're really calling from, even though the number is registered oit of DC.

Next time they call I'm gonna tell them to apply my hrant money to the national debt.  If they need an address I'll tell them 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, DC.  It should be hand delivered with a bow on top.

They Called on a Sat. night to scam people. Good Lord. Go Away!  

They called me that I am approved for 7000 in grant. They requested a security deposit of 320, i asked her to take the 320 out of my 7000 and she hung up!
