Got a call from this number at 11:30pm. Now that just [***] pisses me off! You just unleashed hell. I think this call alone managed to break almost every law regulating phone solicitation. Goes too show how useless the government is to protect people against this kind of harassment.

This call came thru at 10:12 PM, now that is bad, one only expects to hear from friends or
emergency info at tht time of nite.

Often wonder where they get the dim watts who do the calling?  Scary thing is...they vote in return for free cell phone and a knockoff pair of tennis shoes

Got a call this morning. Only 1 ring before it stopped.

These places have computers that dial many numbers at once, dialing more calls than they can possibly handle simultaneously. Sometimes they get lucky and a lot of the calls are answered, enough to keep them busy for a while. When that happens, they terminate the other calls. Those are the calls like mine, a few rings and that's all.

A call that has been answered (by a real person) will go directly to one of their sales people if one is free. If no sales person is free, that call gets put on hold. (Ever answered your phone and had to wait until someone talked to you?) If they have already put a lot of calls on hold, they'll terminate the excess calls.

Their machine can determine whether the call was answered by a person or an answering machine. Real people say just a few words when they answer a phone, answering machines almost always have long greetings.

The people working at their call center do not dial your number. Instead, their machine has already dialed it and has you waiting. Just as soon as a sales person finishes the call they are on, the machine gives them another one.

These places want to keep their sales people constantly talking. They don't care how much they inconvenience you.

Yeah, another medical alert company robo caller. I decided to answer this one to see what it was. Just a recording.

I have a VOIP system that logs all my calls. I blocked this one and added to my blacklist and if enough people do the same, it will be blocked to all callers to this VOIP system.

Ultimately this is a losing race. They'll just create a new number and caller id and continue their scam.

It's another Life Alert type solicitation.

Thanks for the Panasonic info - mine is obviously outdated - 5583 - unable to block calls.  We need new phones!  bb

Just called, I checked here and blocked.  I don't pay $$ for a blocking device.  We have FIOS so can only block 10 calls max (I get more than that in nuisance and scam calls in 3 days), so I have the home # forwarded to my Android phone and I use 2 different blocking apps to block these things.  (Need 2 because for some reason neither app blocks every call successfully.)  Try this!

Another new number by the idiot medic alert scammers. Before I know it my 250 calls will be blocked. Guess that is their intent. Always use a new number. No way to win.

Received call from this number at 11:21AM today (05/15/14).  Robo call to a cell phone.  Targeting seniors with "FREE" stuff.

we get this call a lot even when theres no seniors living in the house. where do these people get there info at?

Received call from this number this afternoon....did not answer and they left no message.  If a number and or name on the id is unknown, unlisted, unavailable...then it is unanswered.  DNC list...been on it forever....doesn't seem to matter.

This number just called but I have the entire 212 area code blocked due to many nuisance calls from this area code so this call like the other 212 ones I get couldn't come through. I do not know anyone who lives in that area of NY that would make me want to answer these phone calls.

5/15 12 PDT ID reads New York, and hung up before actually rolled over to voicemail.  If legit would wait and leave a message.  Based on previous notes, these are probably the same creeps noted in one of the forum articles about seniors being targeted.
